thanks, made a change to hear someone refer to the luggage compartment as the boot rather than the standard Americanised "trunk". please don't change !! :)
i just want to congatulate to you for your grate reviews.. So different from others, and you tell just what a eventual buyer want to here.... there is one more car reviewer Turatii but its not in english, they olso seem to tell MUCH about a car
Been looking to buy a mini mpv or a small SUV,something like a C-Cactus or a C3 Picasso. But this Transit pleases me too, and the price is too damn good. Going to have a look at it this week. Only problem: that horrible Ford interior. Come on, the Nokia N-Gage is more than 10 years old, move on Ford and ditch the buttons!! Nice review by the way ;)
I like that review, it´s neutral and contains a lot of information, all points which get complained about are legit (...).. dont know why that much haters post here ;O) as almost of the other reviews does not complain things? I mean, ...if you wanted "paid reviewers" like in tech szene watch different reviews.
Well I enjoyed this review (first I have from this person) I found it down to earth & pointing out issues (the small annoying ones) that a buyer would be unlikely to notice at first glance. Yes that info center display caught my eye straight away as being way to small & like to driver who be looking at something else to improve things. For sure it could have been longer & covering the interior / front storage / charging ports etc in greater detail. Does the dash surface reflect onto the windscreen ?, one of my pet hates that I find very annoying in many vehicles.
“The orange road condition warning light blinds me” No my friend: it is catching your attention. Might has to do something with your safety. Think before to complain.
Hi do You know if it is possible With keyless on this car? I like the shape and the boot. But it should have led lights and the Entertainment/multimedia is old School.
Very dumb review. I own Courier and I dont have to press boot unlock twice at all. It unlocks with one press with all doors Also I wonder if he really had to badmouth the car on purpose...yellow lever for releasing seats works nice and smooth. Its actually great its heavy duty and folded seat doesnt get loose. Flexible shelf? I am using it to carry my grocery shoppings on top yet no flexing at all... He is struggling keeping combined cycle at 7 litres lol. Well I have the same 3cyl 1.0 L and after 14.500km my average from the beginning is at 5.9l/100km. I drive highway at 120kmh, urban too and I dont go slowly. I drive within speed limits, shifting at 3000rpm, 2 people in car with a bag and 40kg dog
Bought one (1.0 EcoBoost / Titanium / Turk-import) and now have ~ 4000km on the clock. As far from the 2 month´s I am pretty happy, it feels nice to ride and the undercarriage is more stiff than you may think, so drives a little more sporty than it looks like. For me it´s the much better option than Fiesta or B-MAX which are too small. The 1.0EB as engine is okay enough to cruise on german autobahn without running into trouble (to be to slow for example) What i like: + the "short" size is good for large cities (to find a parking slot) and it looks good from the outer side + intuitive usage inside the car (all the buttons but see "-") + you have a lot of room inside, more than you expect (like the old / < 2012 VW Caddy) + it´s silent while driving and in general pretty nice to drive / nice steering + front window heater / clima automatic / nice mobile phone "ford dock" in titanium edition + the milage is okay for that "height" car (~6.3l in city are nice) + giant back door opening Neutral: o with 15" winter tires it looks like a shoe ;) / tires pretty expensive o some things need to get fixed (back flap for example) o a 28 inch bicycle wont fit into the boot without disassemble =/ o you can flip mirrors only per hand (no electric flip as option) Dislike: - removing the rear seat/bank is unecessary hard to do - personally i do not like the interieur that much (too round for my personal needs) - who uses a speed limiter ;) Dreamcar: would be the Transit Courier (with the "doors" in the boot and the plastic bumpers which are not colored) and the option for looking like the Tourneo Courier (glas window in the back ... and stuff), and lets say 30cm longer to fit a bicycle inside without disassembling and the option to easily slide out the rear seats. But overall: Its pretty good, you get more what you pay for (in my country the pricetag for NEW Courier Titanium is under a USED VW Caddy/Touran, which may look better inside, but drives almost equal spoken for the 1.2 TSI in direct comparison) With the 1.0 EB i´ve traveling arround with 6.3liters /100km (large city) or ~ 5.5l/100km (land). Also a lot of space inside. The issue with the back flap (in video 1:50min) i´ve fixed with NEODYM Magnets so i can hold the flap "up" without trouble.
Do you think if you lay down both back seats you can put some sort of matress to sleep there as well? Thinking about converting it to a road trip van. Thanks!
so you don't like the car mmmmm everything you have said is the opposite to the car i aint a ford lover but i think you have brought it down to much but hey ho what do i no i drive a Maserati Ghibli
Carl Warmington The light is annoying, especially at night. When I see a yellow or red light on the dashboard, I usually go and see a mechanic. And the rails in the back? I'd complain, if I saw this in a Dacia, and this is Ford.
@@MarekDrives i agree with the reviewer...dash lights in general annoy me (even the green headlamp light is enough to annoy me) and if you have kids or girls riding in the back seats the rails could become a problem...girls more often than men use "open" shoes, and if you accidently kick those rails with bare skin it will def gonna hurt...or if you happen to be wearing fancy shoes with sensitive surface, like polished leather shoes, the rails could easily scratch them....i think there are many butt-hurt ford fanboys winning here...so many people complaining about the reviewer while i thought that all in all it was a positive review..
Wow fantastic review. No other reviews I saw mentioned the issues you refered with the boot or the back seat passengers floor. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!

Nice video indeed. I can bet he isn't a potential buyer of this car like none uf us :D

Do you still look at old videos?
+kapil busawah I do, why?

See you in the past!
Tourneo Courier, Renault Kangoo or Dacia Dokker, which one to choose?
Tourneo Custom or Courier with the 1.6 tdci engine. Much more reliable than Renault products.
The Tourneo should've had the 2.0TDCI 150bhp like the CMax then I would've considered it.
Like the sound of the engine. Kind of sporty, naturally. 4 cylinder inline sound is boring.
Don't force that shelf in the trunk my dad is always getting those shelfs to repair
Is there a repair procedure for those? I though you just chucked one out, bought a new one.
“The orange road condition warning light blinds me” No my friend: it is catching your attention.
Might has to do something with your safety. Think before to complain.
There's a difference between getting one's attention, and a very bright light on the dash annoying one half the time one uses the car.
Thanks for the video..but i dont like it..i prefer the citroen Berlingo HDI !

+Stian Jorge Jarnæss No, I don't think you can have it with keyless entry/ignition.
Tanx! I am addicted to that now ☺

Do you have any positive feedback for the car? is this guy working for Renault or any competitor? Ridiculous video review

+ intuitive usage inside the car (all the buttons but see "-")
+ you have a lot of room inside, more than you expect (like the old / < 2012 VW Caddy)
+ it´s silent while driving and in general pretty nice to drive / nice steering
+ front window heater / clima automatic / nice mobile phone "ford dock" in titanium edition
+ the milage is okay for that "height" car (~6.3l in city are nice)
+ giant back door opening
Neutral:
o with 15" winter tires it looks like a shoe ;) / tires pretty expensive
o some things need to get fixed (back flap for example)
o a 28 inch bicycle wont fit into the boot without disassemble =/
o you can flip mirrors only per hand (no electric flip as option)
Dislike:
- removing the rear seat/bank is unecessary hard to do
- personally i do not like the interieur that much (too round for my personal needs)
- who uses a speed limiter ;)
Dreamcar: would be the Transit Courier (with the "doors" in the boot and the plastic bumpers which are not colored) and the option for looking like the Tourneo Courier (glas window in the back ... and stuff), and lets say 30cm longer to fit a bicycle inside without disassembling and the option to easily slide out the rear seats.

too bad that ecoboost engine is a pile of crap when it comes to reliability.

It is shamefully obvious the reviewer hates Ford. What a whine-fest.
You're kidding, right?
Blinded by the wee yellow slippery road icon, the front seat floor rails? You are kidding right?
