We have had Rick Rack luggage for about a year now and love it!!!! I would however purchase an extra Clamping mechanism just to have on hand in case the bolt strips out. They are about $15.00 or so. It doesn't take much pressure to hold it on so don't over tighten it which is the problem I think. We were at Sturgis this year and they sold out of them, then we were at Bike Blues & BBQ and they sold out there as well, so it seems to happen to a few of these on occasion.
We can honestly say it’s a fantastic solution to an age old problem. The quick on and off is fantastic but for us it’s the whole package that would have us purchase it. You won’t be disappointed. Thanks for watching.
I've heard nothing but good things about the Rick Rak bags. A great job on the review and should help some folks decide if it's the right luggage system for them.
Hey Eric, yes the worst thing I could find about the product was the price, and that’s only because the Australian dollar has tanked against the greenback. To be honest I simply think it’s a touchdown, and I very rarely would give any product 5 Stars. After refusing so many second rate products it’s nice to find something that simply works and that you have no hesitation in recommending. Thanks again for your support.
And Eric we will never forget your support, especially right back in the beginning, it was instrumental in us going all in on this mad UA-cam world. How things spiral 😂 Both the channel and the podcast have kicked of and seriously made massive changes to that quiet retirement I had planned. Now we need a secretary 😂
Hey guys thanks for watching. You know I have rarely come across an item that just works as well as the RickRak bag. I have to agree with you, its convenience will be a game changer I think.
I’m sure where there’s a will there’s a way, but certainly had no issues with fit. The RickRak slips straight on and away you go. Appreciate the feedback Annette. Thanks for watching.
As I say in the video, it ain’t cheap but quality rarely is. And if I added up what I have spent on inferior bags over the years I think it’s a good investment if you are a serious tourer. Thanks for watching.
I thought about getting one but ended up grabbing something from HD. I’m still may be in the market for this one though. Question… is it a hassle when you have to open your tour pack at a gas stop or another scenario when you need something from the tour pack? Thank you
Hey HarleyandSmoke, good question and the answer is definitely not. It’s basically like a small suitcase sitting on top of your rack. I have just done about 12 nights away with it and I can tell you I wish I had a Rick Rak bag 30 years ago. The convenience of the easy on and off, the ease of use , just like a small suitcase is a game changer for tourers. Thanks for watching.
To be honest it is fantastic. Has basically made touring so much less stressful. As for the 10Ibs I simply dont go silly, packing mostly clothes in it so it wouldn’t go past around 15 at best and I have never had an issue. To me its more about lowering the centre of gravity the weight for better handling rather than any weight limit for the tour pack. My advice, get one you will not regret it.
Only Harley rider's/owner's could see that Rick Rack system as "the Ultimate" 😢 If clamps and padlocks are the best their designer's can come up with they should be fired and get some smart ones. Wheeled options for bike luggage that just clicks and locks on are available😉 You and Rick Take do your research, that's pretty poor design😢
Well champ show me something better as after 40 years of riding its hands down the best system for Harley and Indian tourers. Im not sure if you actually watched because it does simply click on then a few turns of the clamps and you are away.
@@thatharleycouple well sonny boy, I started motorcycling in 1961! That's 62 years I clocked this year and I'm still clocking 25000km + a year. So when you have some real experience take a look at what other major motorcycle gear manufacturers offer for other bikes for attaching that instantly locks in place (key) and then come back and try and explain how Rick Rak are "ultimate". We've all been falling around laughing at M$B and his R R hype.
Well old Timer, instead of mouthing off and pumping up your own worn out tyres enlighten us. What is this better luggage you talk of? Oh, and if you don’t like the content shoot me your address and I’ll send you a refund….oh wait…. Happy for you to borrow a GoPro and show Danny and I how it’s done.
I like that system, just haven't purchased it yet.
If you go direct to their site they have a 30% off discount until Monday I believe. That’s a huge saving. Thanks for watching

Good to know, at that price well worth having a spare set on standby. Thanks for watching, appreciate to taking the time to comment. Ride Safe. THC
Definitely going to look at it for my indian

Nice product if you have an extra $500 us. 😮😮

Great bag only positive reviews
100% and they have 30% off until Cyber Monday and I think 15% for the rest of November.
Great rundown on the RikRak system.
Thanks Mark, it’s a great product, I’m not lying when I say I wish I had it 40 years ago.
Got the Rickrak system myself it’s an Awesome product. Best thing since sliced bread. Nice Vid 👌🏻
Cheers Jon, mate I can’t think of another luggage system in the same league to be honest mate. 👍
Great review guys. No brainer the Rick Rak bags. I'm not telling the wife about the expansion part of the bag haha
It’s OK Aaron we will let her know when we see her next year 😂

How has this system been holding up for you? Since my tour pack luggage rack say 10lbs, I’m kind of worried about it.

👍✌️
Cheers Marco 👍🏻
Hiya whitey n Lisa.
Hi Annie
Great bag. Unfortunately banned for us due to my shopping habits apparently (Leanne) 😂
Ha ha, I reckon it’s going to cost me way more than any purchase price 😂
It is a suitcase. I have a Kury bag and as this one you tend to pack too much..
Well basically yes, with the feature it attaches to your rack perfectly and quickly. Packing too much is an age old problem. 😂 Thanks for watching.
