I’ve been collecting Balisongs since I was 8 years old… 50 years?! My favorite Blade design ever! Benchmade was Originally called “Pacific Cutlery. Balisong U.S.A.” I have a few from their early days. ❤️👍It’s nice seeing someone else who loves them too.
I used to carry Pacific Cutlery Bali knife all through the 1980's, even on a plane (before TSA). The only Balis I have now are a Kershaw Lucha, a BM 62 and a 29 knives.
Double edge Balisongs are hazardous! I have a Parker double edge balisong from early 1980's that I still have scars on the back of my fingers. But that is the way to learn. My first bali was a heavy cast aluminum handled one obviously with a live blade. No practice balisongs in the 80's! Alot of cuts and bruised fingers but I learned to enjoy them. Being in San Diego CA made it easy to get balisongs either at the knife shops or TJ. My favorite balisong was the Spyderfly. A good edc bali!
Great video guys! I got into balis in 2020. In the edc world, full of fidget toys, I gravitated towards them because of the skill aspect. Learning new tricks is so much fun. The fidget aspect is too fun. Also As a little league baseball coach, I got my entire baseball team hooked on balis. For every triple that boys got, I would buy a UFO for them.
I'm an amateur flipper, but I just love the balisong knife. I have a bigger collection of balis than I should and I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who still likes EDC-style balis!

Always enjoy seeing what the “professionals” carry and collect. Can’t wait to see whose collection you dive into next.
BRS Alpha Beast is my favorite Balisong . Hoping to get one sometime soon 🙏
