singapore actually started last year to actually asking all CPF member who are foreigner and refunding their funds to concentrate their investment for their resident. but malaysia does the opposite
Great breakdown! It’s clear that Budget 2025 is aimed at helping the B40, but the M40 and T20 might feel the pinch, especially with the new dividend tax. Do you think we should be worried about the potential price hikes from the mandatory EPF for foreign workers and the minimum wage increase? Hopefully, there’s a solid plan in place to keep our economy stable.
Totally agreed.Employer have to pay another Rm 200 pay rise for each worker. When company expenses increases and made less profit, they will pay less income tax to the govt.
the wealthy gets punished the middle gets nothing the poor heavily rewarded You could hardly blame the heavily-taxed wealthy/well-off folks for thinking like they're being forced to tighten the waist belt/twisted by the arm to 'assist' the poor, while the poor gets to say "the rich is supposed to help us poor folks! it's only right!" don't get me wrong, I don't object we give more assistance/aids to the poor, but the new budget just doesn't give anything meaningful much for the well-off folks in return, which is really an unfair treatment by this administration. I'm very salty as well that they don't even provide any budget for MRT3 where all people of all social class could reap the benefits of the public transportation.
Spending control is far better with focus on service quality and efficiency. Give incentives to encourage the innovative business people. They are the ones that generate tax income spilling benefits to all those down the business lines. Sheer foolishness to put them off with double taxation. They will move investments to other places. Taxation should be sensibly applied and even better if government seeks to reduce it. That takes wisdom and time.
Very bad for those who lives in Klang Valley where the majority could be classified as borderline T15, but in reality their quality of lifestyle is more of M40. Also I disagree the T20 are affected as they have their army of tax consultants, lawyers etc etc to minimalise the impact of all these taxes. The ones severely affected are the M40s as usual
From $15k to $45k that's the minimum range of profit returns every month its not a bad one for me.. As a beginner, it's essential for you to have a mentor to keep your accountable...
What’s your take, as a Malaysian, on your country's leader aiming to join BRICS? What do you think will happen to the data centers owned by US companies if Malaysia actually joins BRICS? Did I hear the rumors correctly? Correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks.
nothing is gonna happened.. western companies still wanted to enter China's market avoiding United States sanctions.. like the dutch's ASML for example, 40% of it revenues are from China, and china still wanted access to western technologies... big american tech companies still wants China's market...
