Summary: Russian troops are largely stalled for now
Key areas:
- Kharkiv: no major changes, stalemate
- North Lugansk: Russian forces captured village Ivanivka south-east of Kupyansk
- North Donbass: no major changes.

WIU, you should do a hits and misses special where you can review previous predictions like the imminent invasion of Taiwan and the collapse of Russian agriculture, 1917 moment ect.

The 1917 moment has been about to happen any day on this channel for the last 18 months. Same with the energy collapse of Europe because of renewables. Inflation was also going to destroy the world last year. Etc.

Russia's attack North of Kharkhiv was met by Border Guards but also by Territorial Defense Units which recruited,trained but had no option other than sending soldiers to the East.

Distance Scale- Id wonder what the affect is on Russian artillery,drones, and missile systems is. The closer to Kharkov the more systems to engage.. And longer range systems can isolate the city. My guess is an artillery strategy that they will advance as the targets within range are destroyed or an advanced to gain new targets. Berleen was levelled not by bomber but by artillery. I'd wonder at the cost to deliver a ton of bombs by air compared to ground. Thus not strictly and infantry war but an artillery one. Mortars are mentioned but is other artillery farther back. ( And some fairly heavy mortar systems as well. ) They are a top attack system for buildings and bunkers not an angle attack..
Lots of F-16 sorties must go farther to Taiwan. Close to homebase numbers might double or triple. Supply lines are indeed stretched on all fronts. I'd guess the costs to the Wests are being hidden somewhere. A Russian 155 to the front say $10 but a US one $500. It appears that the war is being fought by streaming their veterans teeth!
UK needs to cut spending raise taxes or print money. And easiest thing would be cutting spending, but Labour will not cut services to UK citizens, like NHS. However, military spending and foreign aid are fair game.

People arguing that Ukraine shouldn't attack Russian facilities inside of Russia, are essentially articulating the argument that people being raped shouldn't fight back because it might anger the assailant into committing a similar crime against someone else.
Strange logic ... the issue is not about Ukraine but the "west". When is the west becoming an active war party. And that is what a lot of ppl with some brain want to avoid.
I think some are arguing against Ukraine attacking Russia's nuclear early warning radar, as it could generate a automatic retaliatory nuclear strike (especially had this happen in soviet era, if the US had sent a missile to one of those radar)
