- Played on Very Hard difficulty. Also includes Sho fight.
Sofia's pretty great character; she has plenty of range, her kicks are fast and most of her attacks are easy to combo. Also her specials and desperation move are handy as well; Rattlesnake is good for punishing, while Aurora Revolution deal nice chunk of damage if it connects. Although Thunder Ring's start-up is really long.

Such memories. Playing this with my best friend, passing a J back and forth, Bone Thugs and Harmony sometimes playing on low in the background.
A Friend and me always took Sofia and spammed that russian Revolutiom till we both fell off the Edge, we used to cry from laughing when that happened🤣🤣🤣 Love to remember that Childhood Memories!

ArcSys doesn't own the IP and even if they did, they are woke turds now. Guilty Gear Strive characters have been visually nerfed and even wokified when compared to their original iterations..... Testament.

You have any idea how hard to explain to someone who never played this game when you describe Sofia that she is not the Soul Caliber whip-sword lady they know and think you are mis-remembering?
I understand completely, because my game crew did the same to me. I legit do my own research to find Sofia was the character I membered...my nostalgia for the night is complete haha.
@@7vensoundz851 And she is far superior to that Soul-Calibre character. She isn't some sword-whip lady with an "S&M" lean, she's an S&M character that has some supernatural skill that makes a whip and her bare hands into seriously crushing and damaging weapons... even her slapping the crap out of you hitting like a hardened bat or club.
And... she makes me drool even when low-res animated.
@@That80sGuy1972 To me, when I saw Sofia on The OVA, I'll confess that she was better without The S&M character, as she struggled with the memory loss, as well as believing she escaped from The Secret Society's control...
She's like a mystery character that even she herself does not know, missed opportunity there.
Humorously, on The OVA & Toshinden 3, Sofia was voiced by Yumi Touma, who also voiced Ivy on Soul Calibur up until SC3...
Ms. Touma back then was the voice for nearly every fighting game girls of the 90s, from Ling Xiayou of Tekken up until 6, Chun-Li of Street Fighter Alpha: The OVA, Lei Fang of Dead or Alive since, and a few more to add...
