Very good comparison. An ultra competitive lineup is a ktm 250xcf and yz250fx. Just a regular rider swapping amongst the two bikes, its tough

Yamaha is best all round with simple principles kick start, spring forks, inexpensive parts and a history of loyal owners. Picking mine up today 7th one since 1981!!!

Trying to figure out what bike to get into sounds like I should give the KTM 125 the first nod.

Spring forks on KTM is that correct.
No spring forks on the KTM XC are on the 2024 models not the 2023
