Well, I got groceries yesterday and stocked up on several things. I'll add some extras each time. I stocked the freezer and some canned goods.l spent $400, which isn't much for you, but for just me, it's a lot.

Thanks for these great videos. I love them. In one of your previous videos you recommended a peanut butter from aldi. I was curious if we have this exact same product in germany too, and we really did have it in our aldi store. I gave it a try. It was really yummie, despite I'm not really a peanutbutter type of girl. Thanks for your recommendations and sorry for the spelling errors. Take care!

Hi! Yes, and we are looking into buying a whole cow; we have been looking for a new house and all the wild things that go along with that; we now have some new options, so I have just put it off. Oh, really, I would love to learn how to butcher; it is such an important skill. That's amazing!❤
@naturalsimpleliving , girl, it took a village! I think l told you about Dad calling me the fall of my junior year in college and told me to come home that weekend because we were doing meat. He didn't bother to mention that we were doing 3 full beefs for 3 families. It's a huge job. Most people have no clue. We did chickens too but Dad got them prepped to clean and freeze. If you can buy one do it! Uncle Roy did a hog or 2. Dad always helped him render the lard and cut it up. I watched Dad skin a beef and hang it. I told him "all of those accordions were yucky!" I was probably 5.🙂
My Aldi only had 3 packs of ground beef left when I went today, lol. I'm always late! But they were still $3.99 a piece.

I usually buy ground beef from Walmart since that is the cheapest option, except now it's about $8/lb 😢

I have a couple questions for you. When you say you add the ground lamb to your meals is with just ground beef or others? Also I have bought the bread you purchased, but I’ve never frozen it before. How long will it last in the freezer and will it be good? I always worry that when the bread thaws it will get soggy. I love Aldi ( I live in Racine and it’s like 2 minutes away) and I want to stock up on things. I have an upright freezer in my basement , do you have any suggestions what I can put in there? Love your videos, I always wondered where the boys are😂
We always put bread in the freezer in the Netherlands. It stays fresh that way. We only get what we need. So if you freeze a loaf and you will be eating 2 slices, that is what you take out of the freezer. It is thawed in a few minutes.
Aldi in the UK is nowhere near as good as in the US! So envious of all the organic choices! There's only organic carrots and broccoli here :-(
