Hi Julie! I wanted to let you know that frequently Goo Gone will take marker or similar stains off of ceramics, glass, metals, and most hard surfaces. There is also a product called Bar Keepers Friend that comes in a liquid and a powder that you mix up, I got mine online. It's great for dingy pots and pans, even takes the gross, black build-up off the bottoms and it brightens vintage Pyrex that has yellowed over time and makes the backgrpunds white again. Sometimes you need to soak items in BKF. A lot of times Mr. Clean Magic Eraser will take stuff off also. I hope this helps. Great finds today. Love the cute vintage mouse and the covered toothpick holder!✌️❤️
You are a COOL CAT! I love the cartoon characters you use in your video. You should do more, it could be your signature look 😊. BTW, I wish you had bought the owls. They kept starring at me! Great video, Julee Bulee
I’m still binge watching so I’m sure this comment is too little too late . Good for future reference. 😊The blue glass vase that changed to purple is most likely NEODYMIUM GLASS. It can be worth quite a bit😁 Also loved that little bell with the name “Jack” If you find things like that and want to remove words , you can😃, on most things anyway. If it can’t be removed you could apply clay moulds , or decoupage, paint over it. Orrrrr , just find someone named Jack🤣😂 It was soooo cute I am glad you picked it up👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😁
Thank you for the great tip!! I will keep that in mind. Have you checked out our first live-thrifting show? It was just yesterday on NSN, but you will see I love crafting. I may bring that little bell into a future project. It was SO sweet!
I think those owls were meant to have air plants in them, and someone either killed the plants or wanted them in a different 'container'. I think you did very well for it being a small Goodwill. Hope you're having a great day! 💞💕💞
Oh, thanks, Lisa! That makes so much more sense than a cock-eyed candle! Lol! My mom and I were laughing about how that would work. You have a wonderful day as well! 😊
Sandy, I drove myself crazy watching back! I saw many things I missed. I really don't like shopping and filming alone, I really need another set of eyes! Lol!
So true. I can only imagine all the good stuff I miss when sourcing. But for now I'm still on sourcing restriction unless we go out of town. Been working on my "backstock".

You are SO SMART! I'll have to do some research on that. Never heard of that...but the color change really shocked me! I think I sold it for $12...lol!
When you were putting things in your cart I kept saying ,”I’ve never heard of that name or brand before” . The pieces you looked at and left behind because you weren’t familiar with , I was yelling “ I know who that is , get it get it🤣😂We just need to go shopping together then we would have all our bases covered😂
Haha, I have heard that more than once on this video!! But I was so focused on finding the orange flower mugs! I saw things in the background I should have picked up, too!
@@1wayvintage I know you know the other things too. I was just really enjoying seeing you pick up things that were so cute that I have never seen before. I love your finds and I am learning so much😁
Those small containers are not salt bowls but saccharin containers. They were popular in the mid to late 1900’s as an alternate to sugar. It was in tiny pill form and placed on the table when coffee was served. Then they found out it was carcinogenic.
Hi Patty! They are listed now! Feel free to browse the collection, and you will find several trinket boxes as well as other things from that haul. You can shop here: 1wayvintageshop.com/collections/sweet-temptations-live-sale-7-11-24
Do you guys ever buy for yourself at the thrift stores? Anything? Or only a reseller? So when you buy a trinket box for $2.99 (you showed), what do you up the price to when you resell? Ever give reasonable prices or ask a lot? Seems like resellers resell for such high prices. They look it up and find some high price that another reseller sells similar item for and just sell at that price too.
We do buy for ourselves occasionally. As resellers, we research current market value, and flip for a profit. I mostly sell collectibles for a range of prices.

You’re sounding entitled! Not a good look!
Oh, no worries, just a frustration when you can't find a match to something really cool. Not entitled in the least.
