HV..... You're not alone. My cousin Pixel has autism as well. And even though she told her class, she still gets bullied and her school even has hard times believing that Pixel is autistic. She has a mental disorder that makes her act like an animal when she's either happy or trying to defend herself/other people. Because of all the bullying she got, she developed Selective Mutism, which is caused by past trauma..... So you're not alone HV.
