Id love to see something with the Met Police, especially some of the specialist equipment they have such as their boats on the river thames, or possibly the helicopters that support the police! Great videos as always! Keep up the amazing work !

Gwent Police recently got themselves a marked Cupra and it looks awesome! Still can't believe how small they are. Must be really fun to drive.

I got one of these, standard they are quick and off the line they really stick to the road and go cause 4WD. Mine is pushing 501bhp and its an absolute animal

Here’s a good video for you. Having seen many chase videos, it’s clear the cars take a complete hammering when pursuing. Aside from any damage caused through impact, what does it do to the suspension when going flat out over speed bumps? A video from the workshop detailing this would be good. Also, are they routinely taken in for suspension and geo checks after a hard pursuit?

Of course they'll be modified remapped may be a few other mods too!
They are depending on use, such as unmarked cars that were given a switch to cut all rear lights.
Normal cars have nothing done to them as it voids the warranty and insurance terms.
Many vehicles used by specialist teams are plain and often bought at auction with stickers on.
I have seen everything from BT to facility management and some have the uniforms too. The best was an Iceland van converted for surveillance that stuck out a mile on an estate.

Most manufacturers do a Police Pack with uprated suspension, tuning if required, bigger batteries and alternators and a set trim level with different wiring etc.
Should check out west Mercia police, the traffic police in my area (Telford) has an Audi which is my favourite police car.
Beautiful performance car but they need to turn up the speed 06:20 on that LED message board!

Did you look at the marked Tesla, they have in Merseyside? Interested to see a video it, how they are use an electric car practically.
I doubt they will mod too much. Maybe remove limiter and a bit if a chip to up performance a little. Prob also able to leave running and lock etc
Hampshire police would be great! Maybe volkswagen Touareg or some of the unmarked like M340i or focus ST
also have polaris buggies for Isle of Wight festival as well as a set of new unmarked bikes for combat bike crime
This car wouldn't be the most amazing interceptor car for the motorway, 300 bhp is lacking a bit, I would want a bit more. There aren't many cars escaping this, but there are a few that will manage it.

However ... for an urban pursuit / response car? I can see this car being incredible in that role. Hope to see a lot more of these in and around the cities. There will be nothing escaping this inside any kind of built up area.
SEAT are decently reliable too so maintenance shouldn't be an issue.
Mine was staying with x750is rangey svr and the likes of audi s5's in a manual. Theyre more than capable in a straight, mine sat lovely at 168 with no sweat getting there only really slowed down around 155

If plod driving this can jock..its gunna be hard for most cars to get away. On 4s4s in the dry and wet it turns into a different car. Stays gripped up through 2nd and are faster than golf r an s3 out the factory.
What i dont get is our rules of engagement which ben mentioned in the most recent charger video they give the police new cars like this which somewhere like Liverpool it can keep up with the majoiry of pull cars but as a country we cant afford cars like this ben mentioned in the other video tactical contact can be made if you know its life or death but you do tac contact in the cupra its going to be written off and i know this sounds abit stupid but because of the cost of replacing a traffic unit if it crashes cant we do what top gear suggested many moons ago buy older cars which are powerful enough to keep up with a dealer in a 320 d then if you crash it just get another one the only thing i could see an issue with older cars are running costs and second hand part cost ? 😊

Right car I've got the slightly.older Seat Leon Cupra 280 on a 16 plate fantastic car so this Cupra Leon will be even better.
This isn't a cupra Leon, it's still a Leon cupra
I know very well it is I was just saying I have a Car that pre dates the Cupra Leon and my cars fantastic .
@@jeremywentworth1833 the older ones are way better than the new ones, I've had the 280 and the MK3 290 (gpf) and both pissed all over the new cupra in terms of performance
Must admit I love my 16 plate 280 Leon Cupra I've had 4 Golfs Mk 4 , 5 , 6 several Audi's A3 and A4 and it's far better car forgetting performance even though it is Powerfuller the car just seems far better , don't think I will ever buy another VW group car again other than Seat or Cupra. Just far more quality and performance for the money. Can't comment on any VRS Skoda's as I've never owned 1.
@@jeremywentworth1833 yea everyone says the same, you get a lot more toys on the cupras for far cheaper than your typical golf r or S3, my 290 was almost brand new when I got it, had 800 miles on the clock and it cost me 23 grand, looked at a golf r with similar miles and it was coming back at 34 grand, both same year... Difference is mental
You need to interview one of the contortionists that installs all that equipment in tight spaces.
They have got a few tesla model 3 and Y’s in the fleet now.
I can't help but think every British Police Force has been forced to downgrade with the BMW decision. I am pretty sure VAG group can get the EA888 engines to produce 320PS easily and there are many tuners out there. I had a VRS response car that went back to Skoda for performance work as it was pretty underwhelming when all the kit was in the car. I hope the Police also have that option.
Everyone still calls Cupra a SEAT because that’s what it is. 🤔
Leon cupras are animals, not many cars getting away from it in a tight persuit
The laws around drug driving or should I say the methods and science behind it are not fit for purpose the swabbing isn't a clear indication and neither is a blood test as both only give an indication of trace elements and not if you're under the influence of a drug, most people understand how alcohol works, when alcohol is detected in your system you will remain under the influence for up to 48h with level been detected but when a drug like cannabis is detected at any level this could be weeks even moths old and any one with any experience of cannabis will clearly tell you after max 24h its impossible for you to be effected. The point is to take somthing to court and prosecute it has to be beyond reasonable doubt and as it stands the science just isn't good enough for that.
We need absolutes when it comes to laws not opinions and half arsed science
Yeah but don't forget the UK specialises in miscarriages of justice systems that bent!
Or just ... perhaps don't take illegal substances in the first place? Problem solved.

I failed road side swab 16 hours last joint got nfa threw post 5 months later blood level was 0 anything blood level is gone after 12 hours so in other words dont drug drive untill 16 hours last spliff and your ok Haha 😂😂 daily smoker i smoked about 6 joints day before you will still fail road side test but pass blood test 16 hours after last joint tested and proved haha 😅
