Gospels were written by anonymous writers decades after the facts( if there is any fact at all). The gospels were originally written in konine greek (why is that) indicating that they are written remotely from the place the facts supposedly took place (i wonder why?).
Events. Events are recorded in the Bible. Stories are make believe, fiction. Growing up listening to the stories adults told us about Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, etc and then being told there are stories in the Bible can be very confusing to a child.
Nice example of exegesis of the siege of Jerusalem. It strikes me that both, the biblical account and the Sanherib account can be seen as propaganda. Herodotus has less of a skin in the game. But it is the most confusing account. To claim that a belief in the inerrancy of the bible is the final arbiter strikes me as a non historical approach.
I may be a homemaker these days but I appreciate this type of content to learn from. The teacher does a great job.

David Bentley Hart and Ilaria Ramelli are the scholars you want to learn from on this subject.

Yes, a better word to use rather than 'story' when talking about the Bible, is the word history.

Please get rid of the apostrophe in the title. It's embarrassing to have such a mistake in the title and undermines your credibility.
Yo, ease up mate
it’s possessive. not a contraction. it’s correct 😂
