OHHH you got so many!!! Are these all from train stations?? There's some that are super detailed!! I'm planning a Japan trip right now and I'm afraid to miss them/not find them ;v;
You won’t miss them!! :) there are so many! almost all train stations got one (even smaller towns) but ask for them because they still keep them inside their ticket offices, if you ask “stamp?” and do the stamping gesture, that’s it :) Also you can find them in tourist info points, some temples, the Ghibli stores in Kamakura.. Have fun!! Enjoy your time in Japan!
We just had a trip to Japan (first time!) and I really enjoyed finding the eki stamps - sometimes I had to ask more than one person in big stations like Shinjuku - "sumimasen, eki stampu ari masuka" or "sumimasen, eki stampu doku desuka?" I said many times!
@@kristeabooks I luckily collected a lot myself!! Sadly I used mostly the Toei line (it was the closest to my place) and it seems they digitalized their stamps :( Every time I asked for them they pointed me towards qr codes you scanned with the Toei train app and they have like a digital collection book now :(
Happy you got them!! :) yes, they use digital stamps to collect points and get some kind of reward, same thing happens in department stores and festivals. I also feel disappointed every time I see a poster about stamps but they are digital 🥺
Hi! Almost all train stations got one (in smaller towns you have to ask for them), in tourist info points, some temples, also some times there are “stamps rallies” with special edition stamps in some areas and even in Department stores, also the Ghibli stores in Kamakura. Thank you for commenting! :)
@@kristeabookshi 🖖 can you please 🙏 confirm if you were able to fit your sketchbook into those that are fixed (those that have the big handle down movement )? If yes, do you know the density of your paper 📄 and how many pages? Or the approximate thickness of your sketchbook? Exactly what I am looking at now to buy for my Japan trip! Thank you 🙏 so much!🙏
Hi! Yes, no issue with that kind of stamps. I have tried different ones and all fit in. The grammage is approx 125 and 50 sheets. I dont have it with me now so not sure about the total thickness, sorry. Dont get spiral bound notebooks, those could be an issue, if can be flatten you will fit them easily in the "stamp machines". Happy stamping! :)
Thank you for sharing your amazing collection. Hopefully I can start mine next week.
Thank you for your nice comment! Enjoy stamping!💮📓🎌
Wow...amazing
Thank you!🥰
IMPRESSIVE!
Thank you! :)

Hi there, are stamps only available on train stations? Are stamps available in cafes and places of interest as well?

So nice! Some of them are really big! What size is your notebook if i may ask? Is A6 enough to fit them?
Thank you! :) the one in this video is 100x148 mm, very similar to A6. Should be ok for most stamps.
@@kristeabooks Alright, thank you!

@@kristeabooks yes 🙌 I don’t like the spiral 🌀 ones anyway! Thank you 🙏! So helpful! Went for notebook style with 200g.
