@@idigit4967 yes true.. - I do watch this vids also many times and often enough wish to be there (and serve snacks & coffee, lol) kindly regards, Vivian Hyde from Germany 😀
E great if he did an extra long video of visits back to projects he has done the last 2/3 years and what they look like now especially once the ponds are completely full
Wow you should buy a lottery ticket. Glad you found the wheel assembly and no one got hurt. Reminds me of that ole Kenny Rogers song. “ You picked a fine to leave loose wheel”!! On three axel trailers. The fwd axel takes the most load and beating. I have converted a few trailers to two heavier axels. Works great. 🇨🇦
Well that's one way of cleaning up between the trees doing all right. That job will turn out good. 👍👍🙂🇨🇦 Good thing you weren't on the highway When you lost the trailer wheel.
Cleaned it up nice Chris !! Well, Dammit Man !! That Sucks... at least it was at the Gate, at your house !! Great as Always !! Have a Great Evening, And, On too the Next ...
When you said the mulcher was dull yesterday, I thought, how can you tell? It seems to be working fine. Oh my, was there an improvement here. Glad you found the tire, at least Trusty Rusty held up until you got home. Enjoyed Geoff's timelapse of you working at his place. Thanks for sharing with us all, Chris. I hope the Meet & Greet and your shopping adventures all went well.
Nice, turned out to be a nice project, plus the pond build, and clearing out the small stuff, plus tear down on the old house and barn and now a trailer.bummer about the breakdown, but was close to home.just keep on doing your thing.be safe.hope you had fun in Florida.be safe 👍👍👍😎😎😎
Property has cleaned up nicely. That trailer probably has a lot stories it could tell..like you said, that spindle weld sure looks like it’s been broken for good long while.
😂 one of those things you can’t check BUT…. now you know you need a new axle ! BUT you saved the tire and when AND most of the brake drum ! Thankfully it was close and no one got hurt. Always an upside
Hey chris i have done my fair share of mulching. I like to knock everything down then close the gate in the front and mulch its a heck of a lot less backing up
It's wonderful to see, how from a Forest with much Thicket and Deat Wood, through the Mulching, a light clean Park to originate. This to Transform to see a wonderful feeling. Thanks for this Video. 💪The Heap building for the Fire, is not to fine 😢
Hope you, Mike & Clint had a good day and good visits today. Underbrushing under larger trees always makes a difference,,I used to do it by hand on the property where I used to live in the 1980s. Wasn`t that the trailer the crazy Russian brought the red Yanmar mini with? Glad you found the hub, brake drum and tire.
As always very grateful that you are sharing your talents and knowledge. Now if I can just figure out how to ask my wife for permission to come hangout out with you for a couple of days. 😂
Nice clean up project. It's nice your trailer decided to make it home before it self-destructed. I saw why you bought another trailer. You definitely got your money's worth from that one.
Nothing wrong with your situational - awareness . Mentally review the trip home ... hm thought I heard something at the gate . "Well what do you know". Love those moments .
Yer Chris. You should really get your hands on some proper hardwood, Aussie hardwood burns awesomely. Camp fires here are just the best. So hot and long lasting fires.
The only problem I see with mulching is if you would like to save any of the small trees coming up like red or white oak. You would have to walk through and mark them a head of time, which would be a pain in the ass.
Dependable 'old faithful' trusty rusty kindly waited until it was on home and then let go - so lucky there LetsDig18. Mulcher worth it's weight - does a fantastic job. Have a wonderful, restful and fun time in Florida.
Many years ago had a small trailer (with no safety chains) come off on a four lane highway in a rain storm. I was pulling it behind a pickup truck with a topper and the windows were fogged up. I was young and inexperienced at the time and did not know all the different size ball hitches available and put a 2 inch hitch on a one and 7/8s inch ball. We got about ten miles down the road and stopped to get a drink at a gas station. We walked behind the truck and discovered the trailer was gone! We slowly backtracked, hoping we would not come over a hill and see carnage. We found the trailer had disconnected at about 60 miles an hour and simply glided off the road and rammed under a guard rail coming to a stop with only minor damage.
Chris you got a lucky break. from a cursory view, it looks as though the welding held but it cracked next to it. Now's a good time to check them all. besides a visual, I'd go with a wet or dry mag inspection to look at anything that is suspect.
Sorry, sometimes my phone post a treat more than one time, but I don't know why - I erase the double when I see it, or drop me a info that case please, thx ! 👌🙏❤️ The other thing I like to drop:I don't know if everyone else sees it, but I have an eye for things like that and I certainly don't want to give it an exaggerated compliment...! I think that you are one with the excavator and operate it as if it were natural, from the subconscious...!! Without having to think too much!! I think this feeling is called "flow"... - an activity that you are completely absorbed in, that pushes you to your limits, but doesn't overburden you...!!
Trailer axel ,if one has gone the other two could be following close behind. Something that nobody checks when buying trailers, and that's what steel has been used in the construction. Obviously there will be extra load on that front axel ,and to have the correct tow ball weight often one need the load forward, and hey they are meant to work hard ,that's why people but them ,but they must be fit for continuous purpose use . The RV industry has shown how many issues can show up with how things are built and also there are thoughts around the new trucks towing them are creating so much Torque that they are pulling trailers apart .
The only time I've ever lost a wheel like that, it passed me going down the interstate. Luckily, it went to the right shoulder and didn't hit anything important.
Looks like you need to call your buddy Dirt Perfect and borrow his welder to fix the axle... Aaron will probably make it better than when it was new... ... and yeah, that was luck
This is the content I would watch any day over the Superbowl.
Thank you for another great video.
The Super Bowl sucked. I’m from the Kansas City area.LOL Comedy writes itself!
@@Dale-u6n lol This vid was way more exciting! What a snoozer the SB was.
“Well then… huh.…” sums up about every mulching project I’ve ever done lol. Great vid with the mulcher Chris!

Nice video Chris. Glad you found your tire and hub assembly and that nothing got damaged or anyone got hurt.
Oh my goodness! Thankful it came off on your property.🙏
i always enjoy the transformation of the property after Chris completes the project.

After seeing the mulching done it looks great
The mulcher does such a great job at making the woods look clean.
Mulcher doing a great job. Wow your tire broke off and you found it. Miracle.
Have a great week.

Glad the tire came off in the driveway not while you was driving down the highway great video buddy 👍

Hey now, that’s what I’m talking about, Chris!
That's Chris. Workin' so much he's running the wheels off his trailer.
Looks so much better. That was good luck with the tire. Thank you and have a great week.
You're welcome 🙂
Good thing I had my safety glasses on. Great video as always!
Property has cleaned up nicely. That trailer probably has a lot stories it could tell..like you said, that spindle weld sure looks like it’s been broken for good long while.
Your getting really good with that mulcher, always makes the area look clean..
Very good video. Enjoyed very much. Glad you found the tire and hub. Can not wait till next one. From Shelby N.C. thanks for the ride my friend!
lol that was luck with the tire happy that it happened at your home 😂❤
Enjoy the ride , except the tire breaking off lol. Glad it came off in the drive.
Wow! How fortunate when that axle gave way!
man why is mulching so fun to watch!
Lucky on the tire.😊
Chris, when it rains it pours...lol. Always something. Good job!
Munching looks so nice, does a great job! Wow nice break in your own driveway! What's the odds on that!❤ Great video ❤
Gee that was lucky it did not break off on the highway bro, great video by the way. Ken.

That was a good place for the axle to say, "I Quit", lol I've seen Final Destination, and it didn't end well for those behind the trailers.
NICE~! At least it ain't leanin up agin some fence in tall grass all lost n chit 👍😂
Really good timing.

THANKS!
Yesss!!! Let the mulching commence! Advance!!!! Today the mulcher shall eat its fill !!!
Ive transported enough equipment in my days to where i have said those same words, "Well that aint good, Hopefully it didnt hit anybody" Lol
That mulcher cleans up that stringy woody crap like nothing. We have excavators in the area with mulcher heads.
Wow what a difference.
Great stuff Chris! Don, flooded North Queensland Australia
You picked a fine time to leave me loose wheel.
That mulcher really works best this time of the year. No leaves to have to mulch and not much moisture in the little saplings and brush.
The only problem I see with mulching is if you would like to save any of the small trees coming up like red or white oak. You would have to walk through and mark them a head of time, which would be a pain in the ass.
Interesting day for sure!

Oops on the wheel! That's one of the reasons i prefer solid axles!
👏👏
Was this why Mr. Bealy was shocked about your equipment bills ?😂😂 Looks like he's going to pay the new axle....😉👍
