My controversial take is halo 5 was a certified banger of a multiplayer, you ever wanted to actually feel like a hyperlethal vector spartan? Halo 5 and halo infinite is the best options for that. Maps were solid and gameplay was so damn crisp. It was the most competitive halo to date for sure with a high skill ceiling. Also associations in halo 5 was cool AF

Here's my halo hot take The 343 games are fine Halo 4 had a really good and emotional plot Halo 5 had great multiplayer in infinite had a decent amount of both I know saying this anywhere else in the Halo community gets me crucified or just saying anything positive about infinite will get you crucified in the community
The only thing infinite has is gameplay💀. The game is a barren wasteland, released half-baked and to my knowledge still unfinished. I came back after a whole year and the game hadn’t changed.
Hot takes: none of the halo games are "bad" you just need to look at them differently, like you cant say CE is bad because of weapon varity, or tge other way around for Halo 5. 2. Halo Infinite (circa 2024) is NOT bad, mp and campaign wise. It dosent matter if it was bad at launch anymore 3. H4, and maybe H5 werent THAT bad, Halo 4 had a good premise, and H5 had good enviroments.
Hot take: controller shouldn’t be competitive cuz the only reason it’s good is cuz it has aim assist which shouldn’t be the reason something’s good for esports. Along the same lines, the br sucks and dmr should have stayed the meta. The only reason that it’s good is its aim assist on controller while on kbm it sucks. The dmr has a bigger skill gap making games more interesting.
I'm really one to worry about the competitive scene so I personally am indifferent I do however agree with the statement about the battle rifle and I have met people with the same take

by default in halo infinite voice chat is turned off that might be why you couldn't hear anyone
