Everybody is complaining about the music video, but I think it is very visually appealing, the girls are beyond gorgeous, and the song is super awesome. Great comeback, Rainbow. You deserve your first win with this song.
I still don't understand how RAINBOW is so underrated :( They produce fun and catchy music, have great visuals, they have talent, and even their sexy concepts are tasteful. If that doesn't deserve praise then I don't know what does. Also they've been together for like 7 years so it's not because they're lacking or inexperienced. I'm just sad to know that they aren't recognized for what they bring as a group. They are all amazing singers/dancers and most have a career in acting and modeling too- yet they as a whole don't get any recognition. Despite all this I'm so glad that they're still together. I don't know what I would do without this group, they one of my all time favorite groups to listen to. I hope that others will continue to love and support them. :)
Rainbow will always be remembered as a hard working group that never gave up. Perhaps the most underrated k-pop group ever. Time and time again they delivered quality, fun music whilst also being great friends. They are all so talented and K-Pop lost an iconic group.
Also, another thing: it's not cheap. Just because something is simple it means it can't be good? What, every single MV just gotta have packed backgrounds, bright lights, mad editing and etc? C'mon, this is simple and fun just like A was.

If I had stupid money I would spend it all making sure that groups like Rainbow never disband for financial reasons. If ever the girls wanted to get back together, even just for the joy of it, every resource they need would be made available. Unfortunately I am not stupid wealthy but I do have a nice collection of K-Pop CDs and I will make it to Korea in the near future (sadly I wont get to see Rainbow perform live though). Regardless, thank you Rainbow for making the world more colorful and fun. I hope you find many rewarding outlets for your creative energies and that we will still get to see and hear you, after all rainbows do appear after the rain.
I feel that this a good song to end on. They knew this was the last one, and Im really glad they really stuck to the rainbow theme for this one. This seemed like a very nice farewell. So underrated, I wish them the best in what they do in the future

And if you read last years report on most gross income earned per idol, Kara members rank within top 20. Hara was within the top 10. And thats personal income. So talk facts, not fiction. All DSP contracts are a 50%/50% company/group share, JYP is 60%/40% so are you saying receiving less is better? And by the way, contract percentages where disclosed after the produce 101 scandal. JYP is famous because he is a great artist and entepreneur, but doesnt mean his company is the best in the industry. It means he has good business skills. Do your research before making such assumptions.

I know that there's a lot of other opinions here but watching this MV for the first time I had such a smile on my face! All the members look gorgeous and are showing off their personality! I like the simple design because it allows the focus to be on them. The styling is great and the tone is really adorable. I consider the song to be pretty cute and feel good! Plus also No Eul has much more centre positions and lines in this MV which really warms my heart!

So let me see if I can try to guess the meaning of this MV. All of the Rainbow members doing something and producing only black-colored balloons which make them unhappy. Black-colored balloons = 'Black Swan' concept from their previous comeback, which I'm guessing wasn't a huge hit with their fanbase, company, or the members themselves. There is a scene where all the members pour liquid of their respective colors into a vat and when mixed altogether it produces a black/murky brown color which also makes them unhappy. Towards the end of the MV, they punch and pop the black balloons to reveal feathers of their respective colors, signifying that the 'Black Swan' concept is in the past and they're going back to their 'Rainbow' concept.
well I think they incorporated the Prism into their music video. if you mix all the colors of the rainbow it produces a somewhat color near black. and if a light passes to a Prism it produces a rainbow. :)
I dont think anything in this MV has to do with Black Swan. For me different colors resemble different personalities/points of view, and when they are mixed forming black means that all the unique things are gone!! Lesson we are such different from each other but together we can make it through !!!

I remember when I found Rainbow's - A MV more than 4 years ago and I loved the song, since then I've been watching every MV with every comeback and none of them where bad. There was so many times I wonder why they didn't get a trophy for their effort because like every other idol out there winning RAINBOW also deserved it... But now, it was harder to win with more groups in the field and were people look for the famous ones than search to find the oldest with also great talent. I'm gonna miss you as a group, girls. You left us so many funny and charismatic videos, please go follow your dreams and I know someday your effort will be rewarded ❤️

I think I'm the only one who really enjoyed the song, it sounds fun and energetic. The video may seem low budget but it is the first time that they actually do something with their colors (except painting HyunKon's car in "To Me" MV) and I'm glad it was something that looks like they enjoyed filming. Also can we talk about how YoonHye and No Eul have much more screen time and lines that before, this is a huge step form Rainbow. I think all members shined in the MV.

추신 : 2011년도에 강원도 영동전문대 축제왔을때 재경이가 A첫곡으로 부르고 했던말이 오늘만 세번째 대학축제라고 했다. 멤버들 다 피곤하고 작은 대학교 축제여서 힘든거 아는데 현영이가 끝까지 팬들 손잡아주고 사진 찍어주고 했던 기억. 지숙이가 말릴정도로. 팬들도 레인보우 고생하는거 알고 안쓰러우면서 사랑해주고 레인보우도 팬 소중한줄 알고 하찮게 여기지 않았던. 그 당시 월클이었던 걸그룹 중 이런 걸그룹은 레인보우가 유일한 걸그룹이 아니었을까 싶다. 결론은 그냥 조현영 구독해라.
People, look at the bright side! (no pun intended) This MV lives up to Rainbow's name and I expected that everyone has listened to the album audio teasers before watching this! I've been waiting for Rainbow to make use of their colorful concept and I wasn't disappointed! You don't need flashy sets to make a good music video. Just seeing them having fun and dancing is satisfying enough for me! Also, more No Eul and Yoon Hye screen time! No argument about that! :)

-sigh- What sucks about their disbandment isn't that they disbanded alone but, that they never reached that full potential they were able to reach. Been with them ever since their first debut song and their first live music show that was posted on youtube. Even remember how they performed in a stadium full of fans and the fans chanted with them but, back to the point. This group could of easily been as close to popularity and success as their label senior, Kara, especially during the To me and Sweet Dream promotions. To any old fans out there, it was around this time that I believe things in DSP started to go downhill since I remember reading a rumor or so that the original CEO that grew with both Rainbow and Kara was hospitalized. I remember that during this time, his wife and someone else (maybe their child, I don't remember) took charge of the company in his absence. If memory serves me or such I believe this was the time the controversies surrounding Kara started slowly emerging. It was also during this time that I believe that they lost their momentum since the wife probably wasn't out in that kind of position. Now though, I hear their all doing pretty well. Last that I heard one of them bought real estate and another one Seungah was on a news network. Ah well, I would like to think they earned fame in another way since I remember reading an interview that they were known in the industry as the group that could do everything. They can sing, dance, visuals, each have their own hobbies or talents that are very diverse.
It took me just one listen, I loved this song from the beginning till the end! I'm crying it was SO good! I'm so happy with this comeback and I'll do everything I can to support my dear Rainbow. Fighting!

idiots in dsp thought giving every good track to kara was a smart idea, promote black swan instead of bad man crying, prism is a solid safe song but dsp management always disappoints.
Cant believe they disbanded already 😭, They could have won a lot of awards during To Me Era but it was that era where big groups were making their comebacks as well, their management got so confident at Japan promotions literally promoted for 1 1/2 years and they havent been able to recover in Korea. Let this be a lesson to all KPOP artists promoting in Japan, dont stray too far from Korean promotions

If I had stupid money I would spend it all making sure that groups like Rainbow never disband for financial reasons. If ever the girls wanted to get back together, even just for the joy of it, every resource they need would be made available. Unfortunately I am not stupid wealthy but I do have a nice collection of K-Pop CDs and I will make it to Korea in the near future (sadly I wont get to see Rainbow perform live though). Regardless, thank you Rainbow for making the world more colorful and fun. I hope you find many rewarding outlets for your creative energies and that we will still get to see and hear you, after all rainbows do appear after the rain.
I feel that this a good song to end on. They knew this was the last one, and Im really glad they really stuck to the rainbow theme for this one. This seemed like a very nice farewell. So underrated, I wish them the best in what they do in the future

what's up with all the hate? Rainbow is a beautiful and talented group and you don't even appreciate this? Be proud that they at least made a comeback. Well, I guess you have no idea what DSP had done. DSP is literally the worst company is Korea. They only make Rainbow comeback once in a year while spending a great amount of money on KARA. 1 comeback per year is normal for almost all groups. Rookie groups are the ones who make more frequent comebacks.
Kara was DSP largest money generator because of their constant schedule in Japan as well as Korea. And if you read last years report on most gross income earned per idol, Kara members rank within top 20. Hara was within the top 10. And thats personal income. So talk facts, not fiction. All DSP contracts are a 50%/50% company/group share, JYP is 60%/40% so are you saying receiving less is better? And by the way, contract percentages where disclosed after the produce 101 scandal.
JYP is famous because he is a great artist and entepreneur, but doesnt mean his company is the best in the industry. It means he has good business skills.

I know that there's a lot of other opinions here but watching this MV for the first time I had such a smile on my face! All the members look gorgeous and are showing off their personality! I like the simple design because it allows the focus to be on them. The styling is great and the tone is really adorable. I consider the song to be pretty cute and feel good! Plus also No Eul has much more centre positions and lines in this MV which really warms my heart!

So let me see if I can try to guess the meaning of this MV. All of the Rainbow members doing something and producing only black-colored balloons which make them unhappy. Black-colored balloons = 'Black Swan' concept from their previous comeback, which I'm guessing wasn't a huge hit with their fanbase, company, or the members themselves. There is a scene where all the members pour liquid of their respective colors into a vat and when mixed altogether it produces a black/murky brown color which also makes them unhappy. Towards the end of the MV, they punch and pop the black balloons to reveal feathers of their respective colors, signifying that the 'Black Swan' concept is in the past and they're going back to their 'Rainbow' concept.
well I think they incorporated the Prism into their music video. if you mix all the colors of the rainbow it produces a somewhat color near black. and if a light passes to a Prism it produces a rainbow. :)

I dont think anything in this MV has to do with Black Swan. For me different colors resemble different personalities/points of view, and when they are mixed forming black means that all the unique things are gone!! Lesson we are such different from each other but together we can make it through !!!

+ARMOR15 I think you're overthinking it. This video was produced by Digipedi (also did 'Cha Cha'), and had nothing to do with 'Black Swan'. The mixing of paints together was probably just a rainbow-thematic idea from a brainstorming session.

I remember when I found Rainbow's - A MV more than 4 years ago and I loved the song, since then I've been watching every MV with every comeback and none of them where bad. There was so many times I wonder why they didn't get a trophy for their effort because like every other idol out there winning RAINBOW also deserved it... But now, it was harder to win with more groups in the field and were people look for the famous ones than search to find the oldest with also great talent.
I'm gonna miss you as a group, girls. You left us so many funny and charismatic videos, please go follow your dreams and I know someday your effort will be rewarded ❤️

I think I'm the only one who really enjoyed the song, it sounds fun and energetic. The video may seem low budget but it is the first time that they actually do something with their colors (except painting HyunKon's car in "To Me" MV) and I'm glad it was something that looks like they enjoyed filming. Also can we talk about how YoonHye and No Eul have much more screen time and lines that before, this is a huge step form Rainbow. I think all members shined in the MV.
어떻게 레인보우 멤버들 데리고 음방 1위 한번 못했을까 진짜 동시대 대형기획사 치고 너무 마케팅이나 컨셉, 앨범에 신경안쓴것 같다. 맨날 대학교 행사로만 뺑뺑이 돌리고 그걸로 멤버들 정산은 했겠지만 이정도로 끝난게 너무 아깝고 내 맘속에 영원히 레전드 1번 그룹. 평생 잊지 못할듯.
추신 : 2011년도에 강원도 영동전문대 축제왔을때 재경이가 A첫곡으로 부르고 했던말이 오늘만 세번째 대학축제라고 했다. 멤버들 다 피곤하고 작은 대학교 축제여서 힘든거 아는데 현영이가 끝까지 팬들 손잡아주고 사진 찍어주고 했던 기억. 지숙이가 말릴정도로.
팬들도 레인보우 고생하는거 알고 안쓰러우면서 사랑해주고 레인보우도 팬 소중한줄 알고 하찮게 여기지 않았던. 그 당시 월클이었던 걸그룹 중 이런 걸그룹은 레인보우가 유일한 걸그룹이 아니었을까 싶다.

People, look at the bright side! (no pun intended) This MV lives up to Rainbow's name and I expected that everyone has listened to the album audio teasers before watching this! I've been waiting for Rainbow to make use of their colorful concept and I wasn't disappointed! You don't need flashy sets to make a good music video. Just seeing them having fun and dancing is satisfying enough for me!
Also, more No Eul and Yoon Hye screen time! No argument about that! :)

-sigh- What sucks about their disbandment isn't that they disbanded alone but, that they never reached that full potential they were able to reach. Been with them ever since their first debut song and their first live music show that was posted on youtube. Even remember how they performed in a stadium full of fans and the fans chanted with them but, back to the point.
This group could of easily been as close to popularity and success as their label senior, Kara, especially during the To me and Sweet Dream promotions. To any old fans out there, it was around this time that I believe things in DSP started to go downhill since I remember reading a rumor or so that the original CEO that grew with both Rainbow and Kara was hospitalized. I remember that during this time, his wife and someone else (maybe their child, I don't remember) took charge of the company in his absence. If memory serves me or such I believe this was the time the controversies surrounding Kara started slowly emerging. It was also during this time that I believe that they lost their momentum since the wife probably wasn't out in that kind of position.
Now though, I hear their all doing pretty well. Last that I heard one of them bought real estate and another one Seungah was on a news network. Ah well, I would like to think they earned fame in another way since I remember reading an interview that they were known in the industry as the group that could do everything. They can sing, dance, visuals, each have their own hobbies or talents that are very diverse.

Cant believe they disbanded already 😭, They could have won a lot of awards during To Me Era but it was that era where big groups were making their comebacks as well, their management got so confident at Japan promotions literally promoted for 1 1/2 years and they havent been able to recover in Korea. Let this be a lesson to all KPOP artists promoting in Japan, dont stray too far from Korean promotions

Now I understand that they have other groups to focus on, such as April, but this it's no excuse to let such a great group with so much potential to go to waste. but I will respect the decisions of the members and I will support them in their future endeavours.
