San Francisco’s Eric Luttrell returns to Anjunadeep with ‘Out Of Me’, his first single since ‘Intergalactic Plastic’, which was named Hottest Record In The World by Annie Mac in March.
Premiered by Annie Mac on BBC R1, ‘Out Of Me’ showcases Luttrell’s trademark production style, looping a hypnotic vocal hook above powerful low-end melodies and broken beats. On the theme behind the track, Luttrell says…
"I love the idea of truly recognising something, someone, or even someplace that has helped you become a better version of yourself. I think everyone has some experience or relationship in their lives to which they can attribute that idea."
2018 has been a breakthrough year for Luttrell, playing major festivals like Tomorrowland, Holy Ship and the DoLab Stage at Coachella, as well as touring the world with Anjunadeep, and supporting Rüfüs Du Sol, Lane 8 and Above & Beyond. With a remix for Tycho plus a highly anticipated debut album and headline tour on the horizon, 2019 is set to be a milestone year for the moustachioed producer.

There was a book that I read when I was like 9 years old. The protagonist and his friend would sit in a room and just listen to music.
I forget the context of the story, but the protagonist visited this other character and was amazed at how this friend had a room just for listening to music. There were no TVs, bookshelves, or anything else. Just a stereo.
Until now, I've never really heard a song that would be worthy of such a listen and room. (Edit: besides some songs by Bohmer).
This song really deserves just being listened to. You can't multi-task with it, to do it justice.

It is like entering the dimension of time and space and precensing an incredible journey in the immensity of the cosmos, where physics is not a rule and where creativity emerges ... Luttrell is one of the best .

It's been pretty long time since i had shivers from music.
I started hearing electronic music in the mid 90s, it was trance music. Then the german electronic scene suck me up and trance became a bad memorie. After years of hating trance I found this, what is a kind of trance for me but very well made. Now the circle is closed.
