This excellent game has lots of neat features to discover as your store expands. In some cases you might need to experiment a bit to learn how best to use them, and that is all part of the fun. Although there are a number of unrealistic aspects (for example immediate deliveries and the infinite capacity of the dustbin), I think in most cases the creators chose wisely to make the game more enjoyable.
After watching the first episode last week, I went and bought the game on Steam. It's so addictive that I've already clocked up 27.5 hrs of play. I now have 2 tills, 2 cashiers, 2 restockers, and a self-service till. Don't forget, you do have your daily bills to pay as well and also if you go into the furniture section of the market tab you can buy extra lights from there.
A Great name for your store, and a great video. I have recently downloaded the free prologue version of the game to try. I am currently playing, and enjoying very much a card shop version that I purchased soon after trying the free version of that. And playing and enjoying, but not quite so much, a Fast Food version. Not enjoying quite so much, because it is a bit fast and hectic playing on my own. And even more so as I am an oldie. I try to memorise their order, I put the burger on the bun, and by that time I have forgotten what else they want on the burger. No full version of it yet, but when there is I will purchase it if or when they add AI workers to hire to help out.
Another great vid Joe. Not sure about the name of the shop tho, I imagined you would come up with something really funny. Keep up the good work, am really enjoying the series so far. 😊
Hey Joe, been watching for a long time. We miss the Omsi 2 content! Where has it gone? No pressure but hopes we start seeing it again. Good videos Joe and a very happy Halloween!
Prices can be changed on the computer, it also allows to to sort prices by most recent change, you can see which products that the market price has changed for and change them there, it is under the pricing section.
I always set prices at 1p less than market value. Stops them whinging about stuff being too expensive. (Also, if you're doing the checkouts, you can just use the numpad for card payments)
@@JoeDobsongaming you'll be able to hire a cashier soon. Also, you're a bloody train guard, you must sell tickets all the time, and pricing there is always an adventure. Lol

Joe , use the mod that lets you change the currency to UK Pounds .Much more realistic for UK gamers.

Thought the shop was going to be called "Dobson's Choice" :)

If they ever add more saves to this game, a joe+ series might be cool to see. Great video as always Joe!
Definitely BennoXIX! I'm a bit of a Supermarket Sim addict right now :D
the US don't use contactless, nor use chip and pin, they still use swipe their cards to pay, they always behind with things

That's much easier than going round each individual product isn't it :D Thanks for the hint Stone :D
I think you should call it JoeLocal

The dev must be french as all the products are the exact same apart from one or two letters (panzati instead of panzaNi pasta for example)
