Hey Shannon! I am a 2x warrior... I'm really sorry that you have to go through this being so young! My first time I was 48 and the second 58....I'm still here as a 61 year young woman now!! I was triple positive or Her2pos. I found both of mine....so proud of you for taking care of yourself and doing your self exams!! Awesome!!! I will keep you in my prayers. I have a daughter your age and I do worry....but you need you to check out RSO for cancer, amazing read. take care and God bless you and your family! ( oh yeah I am cancer free)
Hey! I was diagnosed February 15th stage 2 her2+ very aggressive. I had a port placed 7 days later on the same day I had my MRI. I love my port!! It makes everything so easy! Good luck to you! Talk to your Dr about neulasta! It helps your counts not tank. I never had to delay chemo once and never got sick.
I've had neck fracture pain go away while reading the bible out loud so do it every day. And many many times I've been healed through my tithing, always be faithful with your tithing.
Hi! I’m going through breast cancer as well triple negative breast cancer I’m finished my chemo so far just waiting my results from my CT scans for surgery. You will get through this beautiful! Praying for you! With your journey! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Hi Shannon, yes I did chew on ice but not until I learned the hard way. No one had told me to chew on ice the first time and I was doing the Adrianmyosin (known as the red devil chemo). Then I watched Joan London’s UA-cam and she gave me that first tip about the ice. There are all kinds of tips you’re gonna learn along the way as I have. Just yesterday after doing four of the Adrianmyosin‘s that I learned that I can go up here to my local Christ Hospital anytime I want and get fluid and anotherBag of anti-nauseous medicine rather than the pill. I just found that out so you might wanna check into that it’s much stronger in the works so much better than the pill. I did my last Red Devil two days ago. I did do a announcement on my Facebook finally to my friends if you care to see it. It is under Rickelle Thall Ruby and you can see the little bit of my life if you care to. But I’m doing all right and we’re going to get through this. I don’t mean to preach to you but becoming A better Christian has helped calm my nerves a lot. At night I listening to meditative tapes on my iPad about healing and it goes on all through my sleep so it gets into my subconscience then I’m going to beat this. You may find listening to those extremely helpful. We’re not in this alone. Always remember that. Ask and you will receive. Take care and God Bless. P.s. Get that port in as soon as possible. It is so much better than they are. Trust me
Hi Shannon. Not too worry about the port. Very easy and quick surgery. I too am exactly like you right now. Same exact...Triple negative... stage 2. And under the arm lymph node as well. I am getting ready to do my third chemo ( with the Red Devil) ... ugg. But I’m doing pretty good. Until today when I got sent back home by the doctor because I have sores in my mouth from the chemo that are really bad and I have a heck of a head cold. So my chemo got postponed by four days and I’m on anabiotic’s and hopefully I will get this under control by Chemo time. But I know exactly how you feel then prisoner in your own home. I keep trying to think well if I wear a mask can I wear gloves I could go out walk around the mall a little bit. But I’m getting a little paranoid now So I think I’ll back off of that a bit. Everyone’s just going to have to get Christmas gift certificates. But think how easy that will be so there are some perks to cancer! I’ve been recording but I’m not ready to go UA-cam yet. But I feel you girl. Staying in is no fun. Now it’s going to force me to get my house so good cleaning and organized! Hang in there. We’ll be fine.
It sounds like you and I are almost on the same schedule! I hope that you feel better soon.. delaying chemo is the biggest thing I am scared of bc I just want to get it done. Do you chew on ice when they are pushing the Red Devil? My nurses swear that its the golden ticket for keeping mouth sores at bay.
Hi Shannon ur beautiful and i I hope your treatment goes fast and smooth because it sounds like you have a very busy life with your job and the kids I can’t even imagine there are so many young women like yourself getting these diagnoses I am 69 and so far so good and you are a 38-year-old baby so I’m sure you have A better immune system to fight through no matter what life is never easy so be positive think it starts and it will be over before you know it you’ll be back to being ma’am thinking of you and Illinois love rosemary
I was just wondering how you are doing? Staying positive is tough but it is a huge part of the cure. I’d like to know if you’re getting any of this. I’ve never UA-cam and never really responded to anybody. But we have so much in common with our cancer being the same. Please let me know if you’re still out there and I will try to follow you. God Speed. We’re going to be fine.
This totally sucks. I was just diagnosed w/ IDC, Estrogen/Progesterone +, HER2 -. I have a stupid question lol. I know it is risky going around others but what about going to a park, the beach, open air, kwim? Is that not recommended either?
I think you need to do what's right for you. IMO, I think being out in the open air is good and healthy, and needed to keep sane! If I lived somewhere where I could be on a beach- I would! It's the issue of being indoors with lots of people bc of cold weather, and their germs flying everywhere. I keep a face mask in my purse in case I feel like I need it.
Okay. Thank you for clarifying. I was getting scared lol. I live in Miami, FL so the beach is right there and when I'm sick I like going to the beach to breathe fresh, salty air. I'm glad I might still be able to do that lol
Hi I know how you might feel because of the pandemic with covid 19, I’m at risk due to asthma and heart condition that makes it a perfect host for Rona. I have to be very careful about social distancing and wearing a mask... they, CDC, do not recommend going out any where... hang in there😊😊😊😊 God bless and heal you in Jesus mighty name 🌷🌷🌷🌷

How are you getting on now? I have breast cancer too, it's so vile
I'm doing OK- I think! Lumpectomy is scheduled for May 12, so at this point I am hoping to have a PCR. Fingers are crossed.
Keep your hair as long as you can!
I kept it until today (12/1). It was coming out in clumps:(
@@shannonkienzle-macdonald357 oh boy, I remember...my hair is finally coming back. Did you have a lumpectomy or mastectomy?
@@janemar9893 trying to shrink the tumors first; not BRCA so hoping just for a lumpectomy
