  • OH MY GOD!
I wanted this recipe to work out SO badly.
    Unfortunately ... it did not.
However, I still recommend that you try it out for yourself and form your own opinion. My boyfriend actually thought it was *okay*.
You can't win them all, but you can try them all, and that is the very essence of this channel.
    INGREDIENTS:
    2 cups tomato juice
    1 tablespoon gelatin
1/2 onion or 1 bebe onion, chopped
    1 stalk of celery, chopped
    * lettuce and mayonnaise for serving
    METHOD:
Portion out 1/4 cup of the tomato juice and pour into a small bowl.
Sprinkle the gelatin over it and mix well. Set aside.
Chop the onion and celery and add to a medium pot along with the remaining 1 & 3/4 cups of tomato juice. Heat to a boil and then simmer for 5 minutes.
Strain out the celery and onion and then reheat the tomato juice in the pot, adding the gelatin mixture and mixing until dissolved.
Pour into a gelatin mold and refrigerate for 4 hours or until solid.
Chop and arrange some lettuce on a plate, squirt or plop some mayo around, scoop the tomato aspic on top and voila! A perfectly wretched lunch.
Just kidding, you might like it.
    TRY IT AND SEE! :)

I agree with your view point on trying new foods. I always told my kids to keep trying new things because your taste buds change as you get older.

That's an amazing thing to teach them, I want to teach my kids that too someday. The more open people are to trying new foods, the more open they will be to many things in theirs lives, I believe.

🍅All you had to do to get the jello out of the bowl easily is to set the bowl in some hot water for just a few seconds. This causes the outside of the bowl to warm up enough to allow the jello to release. Just make sure you do not get any water in the jello itself. Thank you for trying something new to you and sharing it.
