I live in Malaysia, and I have never seen this kind of apam balik before. The traditional apam balik usually uses the same kind of batter, sugar, crushed peanuts and creamed corn. The things they used for the apam balik in this video can be classified as "mengarut".

Yerlihat enakkk yummy,, kalo diindo yak kue lekker yahh tapi versi besarrr, tapi sekarang juga ada kok martabak tipis sama kayaa apam balik tapi dipotong panjang2.

The description is false , this is not Terang bulan or Martabak Manis but this is Leker in Indonesia.
I've tried this, the ingredients, taste, texture, density, size, is so different with what you call as Terang Bulan in the description .

Aku peliklah kenapa orang indonesia ni gaduh pasal makanan ni contoh first : ( martabak ) Mutabbak or matabbak, also mutabbaq, is a stuffed pancake or pan-fried bread which is commonly found in Saudi Arabia, Yemen, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, and Thailand. Second : ( apam balik ) Apam balik or terang bulan in Indonesia is a type of griddle pancake common in Southeast Asia which ( originated from Peninsular Malaysia ). It is usually sold at specialist roadside stalls throughout Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. Read gais read

Emang ini jajanan khas Malaysia sejenis martabak namanya apam balik, versi tradisionalnya cuma pk jagung manis sama gula doank ukurannya kecil. Klo yg ini udh dimodif bgt pk berbagai varian rasa. Beneran bukan copy soalnya dr jaman jebot apam balik, roti John, Karipap, murtabak ( mirip martabak Asin di Indonesia) memang jajanan pasar malamnya di sana.

@Claire Viella It's not a middle eastern food, it is an east asian and southeast asian food. You'll never find the same food called "martabak" in the middle east, I guarantee you. Google "apam balik" and go read its history in its wikipedia page first please. The food came from China.

there's actually two types of martabak in Indonesia. martabak telor, which is a thin dough filled with eggs, scallions, meat and other things and then fried.
this apam balik looks like martabak manis, which is filled with chocolates, sweet condensed milk or anything sweet.
