This is my home town. Port Canaveral, Fl. awesome fishing Captains.. That snapper bite was insane. But, wouldn't except anything else on our reefs that are taking them over. This video proves it all Can't wait until they have an open season.. SMH.. BlackTipHFishing. Awesome video.
@@Brett_Ski I don't think a handful of guys fishing is any reason to regulate an animal. Thar only happens when big money commercial fishing comes in and wipes out a species, hauling in tons. Our cooler full, wasn't a pimple on the ass of a commercial ship. I'll not accept your blame at all.
@@getinit56 and this mindset of “a handful of guys” is how people justify overfishing of our natural resources… it’s statistically impossible for our oceans to recycle at the rate to which you used to fish
I’m 60 now, but when I was 14 or so we used to go out on Captain Anderson’s party boats , way way off shore. We even had those electric reels because we were fishing so deep. Anyway the red snapper, black and red grouper were so plentiful.
Tip of advise, paint a stripe up the gaff pole on either the point side of the pole or opposite so you can easily see which way the gaff needs to come back out...

We just got done catching all of these species over in the Panhandle. It's amazing how similar fishing can be across two different geographical areas.

I remember back in the 80s as a kid, when we took coolers full of red snapper home out of the gulf. Great eating.

Red snapper are a little small on the edible fish scale. Most edible fish are either sailfish, big shellfish, or grouper.
