Wow, I'm 59 and feeling like I've become a selfish person and very picky about who I spend my time with and how I spend my time. Oh, yeah, and I'm not that into decorating/hosting the holidays anymore. And I know I'm not depressed (been there before) so THANK YOU for letting me off the hook!
I love it when you discover that you are entirely normal. It's just so reassuring and such a relief to be yourself.
Knowledge is power. This whole series is power 💪. You're the best!
Ahh, well, I think you're the best, Denise. I just love knowing how much this is helping you.
What a great video at explaining this hormone loss.. Thank you Barbie :) xoxo
Ahhh, my very first subscriber! I feel so honored to get a comment from you. This resonated with so many women. And most felt relieved to discover they're completely normal. I hope to see you soon, my dear friend.
Two of my admired women on youtube. Thank you Barbie for doing this. Grateful to have found your videos 3 years ago. Revisiting them as i am experiencing symptoms that are more noticeable now. Been wondering what is going on with the body aches, dryness, uti's and depression - then it dawned on me - it's menopause. A "must watch" for every woman approaching this life stage.
This is totally amazing, thank you. Wondered why I just wanted to hide in my cave...responding in accordance with hormones, makes a lot of sense.
You see! Isn't it nice to know you're completely normal?
Yep Meno and puberty here at my house! Oh let’s not forget hubby’s retirement. Now...where is that glue?!
You poor thing! I think you need a lot of Scotch tape.
The WHAM series has been fantastic and an real eye-opener.
I'm so glad to hear this. I thought it would be a great segue into the units on all the diseases that will start in August. So many pieces will fall into place.
😂😂😂 haven't seen inlaws in 3 yrs. Nothing else to say,I'll see you when I see you!!!!!
You get the idea. And you don't feel guilty about it, either. You're normal, my dear.
lol, how do you get out of it? I am loving this discussion.
You are so right, and I was so unfortunate to be going through peri while my daughter was going through puberty... Toxic!
I look back now and realized how crazy that was .
Yes, I always have sympathy for family that have puberty and menopause going on in their home at the same time. Now you understand why it was extra difficult.
@@MenopauseTaylor I wish I knew then what I know now..sad.
Yes, but it's never too late. And use this as encouragement for your daughter to learn all about menopause well BEFORE the needs it. It's the best gift you could possibly give her.
Pans S I’m going through this right now. You are so right. It is toxic. My only hope is that it’s going to pass one day. Keeping my fingers crossed that this day comes soon.
Omg
Wow, I think this is one of the most fascinating things I have ever heard. This is exactly what I am going through. This is one of the lightbulb moments for me. Thank you so much.
You see! Isn't it wonderful to discover that you're completely normal? What a relief.
Me too I just want to be alone at my beautiful house having a breathing time for MYSELF. I like to be at places but dread the travel part the jet lag part, not appealing. Labor in the kitchen the entire day is undesirable
Linda, you're not alone ; )
I had heard the saying, "All the filters come off after menopause." I guess this drop in oxytocin is why! Thank you!
Exactly! You no longer need to worry about pleasing everyone else. And it's so liberating.
Thank you. I am not going crazy. My youngest son was going through Puberty as l was going through menopause. I have shared this video on Facebook. We need people to talk about this more and more. Education is the key to empowering each other through this time of life. I am so happy l found you and I love your videos
You are definitely NOT going crazy.
Please consider scheduling a consultation with me at MenopauseTaylor.ME if you want me to tailor everything specifically to YOU. I do them all online.
YOU MAY BE WEARING A WITCH HAT but, you sound like an angel 😇 to me! Thanks.
How sweet to say that! The things I do for the ladies I love!
I’m so thankful I found you! These videos explain exactly how I’m feeling. I really want to share them with my husband but I’m afraid if I do he won’t take me seriously. I don’t want him to minimize what I am feeling and say it’s just another female “hormonal” problem. This is all very real to me.
It's very real, period. And I think it will benefit both your husband and/or marriage if your husband has a bit of this education. Many women watch my videos with their husbands (and many of the husbands are hooked on them because they find the information useful for men, too).
Fantastic video. Wish I’d seen this years ago. I’m sharing this with many friends pre and post menopausal! Thank you.
Loved this so much!! I’ve been binge watching you. Social changes. And changes in connections. This information is so valuable!!!
Exactly! And if you watch my videos in order, starting with the very first one, you'll really binge watch. You won't be able to get enough because you'll understand absolutely everything, probably for the first time in your life.
This education is what you deserve. I love giving it to you.
& luv your valuable info
I don’t think all women have high oxytocin when younger. I’ve never felt the urge to have children. I’ve known I didn’t want children since I was 12. I enjoy being married but never wanted more than marriage. We are very happy as-is.
True. I don't think parenthood is for everyone. In fact, I don't think anything is for everyone!
I've had crazy levels of oxitocin at 12, I think I should be a young mother, because it dropped with age a lot, and being a mother at 31 I was already almost over. Perimenopause kicked in early and I'm now feeling stuck with 8 yrs old son being 40, wanting to have just peace and quiet. But I loved children and being around them until my 30's and first years of being a mom. Still I want to be a good mom, to raise happy, healthy and independent young man.
Everyone said "don't have kids early" but I think it's different for different people, I was a very "grown up" teenager
You’re so right on! I had my 2 kids late in life and now I’m going through menopause while both my kids are going thru puberty. It’s been a bit crazy in the household. And everything you’re saying I’m experiencing. My oxytocin is nearly non-existent and it’s been making me feel bad about wanting to rush the kids off to college as soon as I can so I can start living my life!!! I don’t know what it feels like to want to be a mom these days. It’s been more transparent since my husband passed away. I’m just counting the days till I get the nest back all to myself. Now, I feel like I understand from physiological perspective why I’m feeling this way…. Thank you!!! Love all your videos. Learning so much./.
I love it when you learn that you are normal, even when it's not the way you'd prefer it.
OMG! I now understand that I’m not as unusual as I’ve thought! I’m missing this hormone too! Thank you for helping me figure out me. ;)
You see? I love this! It's so wonderful that you have reassurance and peace of mind that you're entirely normal. Keep watching!
This video describes me to a T! Everything, really EVERYTHING, applies to me. I also read your article "Mama comes unglued" and laughed so hard when I read the part about going camping. Again, this is me 100%. It is such a relief to know that this is a normal part of menopause, and that there are many others out there who feel the same. People might be aware of certain physical symptoms in menopause, but who knew that "having no interest in holiday decorating and cookie baking" and "refusing to go camping" are part of menopause too?! Thank you for this video, I feel so much better now : )
I just love it when you learn something that reassures you that you're normal. And now you can blame everything on your lack of oxytocin. Some women say that this is the part of post-menopause they love most.
Thanks so much for the WHAM series drBarbie♥️
I'm just 47 and maybe already in periMenopause.. but still have regular periods.. i love to watch all your youTube videos, soo informative.. so i know what to do when my time comes.
-mila mendez
You are so very smart to get this education before you need it. It will make such a difference in the quality of your life. Keep watching, my dear.
@@MenopauseTaylor ❤️❤️❤️
Brilliant video!
Brilliant student! And I mean you!
Thank you: this series has helped me so much. I just thought I was losing my mind or going crazy.
I just love it when my tutorials reassure you that you're normal! Keep watching, my dear. You will be so empowered.
The W.H.A.M. series was A.W.E.S.O.M.E. Thanks for being out there, Dr. Taylor!
Oh, I'm so glad you see the benefit it looking at things from the perspective of common themes. Now you'll be ready to delve into each disease unit in August.
You are pure gold. What an education. And it was so much fun (albeit sad) to learn.
I am so glad you're here, getting the menopause education you deserve, my dear. I love every minute of delivering it.
I'd love to hear that BEFORE having a child. So I could warn my spouse (and myself) about declining sex drive (non-existent for 2 years, no menstruation, no ovulation, zero!). He was jealous of OUR baby son, and thought I just used him to get pregnant. On top of that, our son happens to have multiple health and developmental issues, so needs a lot of attention even at 8 yrs old. But he's doing great and have a bright future ahead. Not so much about my relationship with his father, he was in rage! Even though I truly loved him, I couldn't be the woman he knew before pregnancy and our paths divided. Now I'm with someone else, who appreciate me as a person, not for sexual purposes.
That's why my dream is for all women to get this education in their 20s. If they did, they'd make a whole of of decisions differently their entire reproductive lives and menopausal lives.
This certainly explains a lot! It is a shame that there isn’t much info on what is or will happen to us as we are going through the last part of our life, because we sure get a lot more on puberty. So, thanks for sharing and explaining what happens and why! Thanks 🙏
You are so welcome, Sue. I think it's always so much easier when you understand why you feel the way you do. Most of our emotions and behaviors are really just a function of our hormones.
No wonder! Menopause means detachment !!! Pull away from toxic relationships
WOW
So cool for menapause! :)
Ha! When you put puberty and menopause at the same time in the household...my eyes widened. Then you said, I’m sorry, I’m sorry. I laughed out loud!
I can just imagine you bursting into laughter then. You always make me laugh, Maria, so I'm just following suit.
Loved this series of WHAM! I am so happy I found you and many of my questions have been answered. Thank you. Can't wait until next week.
I am so glad to hear this. I think it's so helpful to learn these common themes before delving into each topic individually. So stay tuned. You are going to learn soooo much!
First I click thumbs up before I watch the video as I know it never disappoints!
My big sis Dr Taylor! I just love your video and moved in tears listening to you! This is the first thing I do in the morning and often it made me forget my routine in the morning to get out of the door. Hungry for your knowledge on everything. Relisten to the first 30 episodes again and again. Praised these videos with my husband... he is so glad for me to be so happy learning
You make me smile, my dear Linda. It is just such a joy to know that I'm making a positive difference in your life. And I love getting to know you through your comments.
Your spot on because thats how i feel lol
You see! Isn't it great to learn facts that make you low you're normal?
THIS IS ME! ALL OF IT! Thank you so much, 👍🏼As I sit alone in my lunch break with my sandwich wrap and iced tea, 😬xxxxx
And you're happy as a clam! YES! That's true comfort with oneself in solitude. Give yourself a big pat on the back.
You're so funny and so true. Loved this series.
It pleases me so much to know that these videos are serving you well. I love making them. Keep wathing, You never know what I'll do to ensure your understanding.
I'm all out of glue for everyone except you......wink! xx
Ahh, I love this comment. It really made me smile. I'm glued to making these videos for you, too.
💕
I couldn’t stop laughing as soon as I clicked... I’ll comment after this 😁 💗
Now, I'm laughing!
Thank you so much for your precious explanations . You're right, we women, have to understand what's happening in our body during this particular period.
Knowledge is the beginning of freedom, according to me.
See you soon 🇨🇵
You really get it, Karol. I'm so glad you're here, and I know that you'll understand absolutely everything if you watch my videos in order.
As the wife of an addict who has done nothing to correct his behavior but only changed substances I have zero tolerance for his disrespectful crap. When he gets mean and tells me how difficult I am I'm no longer patient enough to be nice and understanding and its not worth the energy to get angry so I'm using extreme sarcasm agreeing with every mean thing he says where in reality I work really hard to treat him right and when he's frequently careless in my environment with my things I thank him for giving me more work to do and when he really becomes impossible I thank him for caring so much about my cortisol function. I have used this approach a few minutes at a.time but now it has now become my attitude. He really hates it and it works he would prefer I get angry If we weren't raising this much needed precious puppy together I could easily go weeks without dealing with him. I know it's depleted brain chemistry so he blames my menopausal brain chemistry the difference is I didn't cause this within myself and I'm doing my best to stay on track with nutrition activities chocolate and a puppy. That's the thanks I get for acknowledging my physical changes and coming to my precious darling with honesty. He's so.proud of growing up with 3 women and spending 20 years in the Mexican culture I think respecting his very patient understanding and responsible wife is a.reasonable expectation. Thank you for this perspective
I'm learning so much from you. This video explains why I'm finally able to tell people what I really think instead of beating around the bush!
Exactly! And isn't it nice to know you're normal? So much of what women experience at menopause makes them think they're crazy, or depressed, or anti-social. They are none of those things. They are all due to hormone deficiencies that occur with menopause.
True true true , toxic relationships out of the window my best friend my puppy Charlie 😂
Yes! Me too!! I have a velcro dog who gives me all the Oxytocin I need LOL
I went off a year ago, but having flashes, thinning hair and feeling like I am on my last thread, going back in and fighting for my sanity. Thank you for these recent videos, I needed to see this at this time.
Listen to your body, Gigi. If you have any symptoms of estrogen deficiency, that is YOUR OWN BODY telling you it is deficient. You don't have to believe me or anybody else. Believe your own body.
Thank you! Just sharen on my FB page with the comment - "She rocks it again! I wish our OB GYNs could tell us even 10% of what she explains! Must see for women and their families."
It always helps to know what's normal. Can you imagine is you didn't know what to expect when your child went through puberty? Menopause is no different.
Thank you 🙏 I thought I was going crazy ❤️
Noooo. You are not going crazy. You are absolutely normal!
Wow!! This is one of my most favorite videos. So much explained!!!
Most women say that. Aren't you relieved to know that you are completely normal?
Love this series Barbie. I love my YT friends... :-)
This makes me very happy. I can tell that you're really getting great benefit from these tutorials.
Thank you for the video and the sympathy!! I'm early 40s with 2 young teens and 1 preschooler 🤪😅.
You my love are so smart. Thank you for sharing your knowledge
I'm just a real nerd who loves to translate medical information into a language that you can remember and use to better your life. I'm so glad you watch these videos.
Loved this wham series. Looking forward to what's next. 🙏💕thank u
You are such an appreciative and eager student. I just love having you in my class!
OMG!!! Yes to it all! Loved this video. Speaks to my new way of thinking...have a great week♥️
Thank you for your very informative/funny videos. I truly appreciate them.
You're so welcome. I think laughing and learning go hand in hand.
Buy👋🏼! It was nice to see you again! Yes, it is like we know each other a little! Thank you (from Stockholm) for todays video!
I feel so close to the ladies who watch my videos. We're like a family. And I'm so glad you're one of my sisters.
Love, Love, Loved this wham series!!!! Thank you and BTW your witch hat is very bewitching!!!:+)
Ha! Thank you, my friend. I am so happy you liked the WHAM series. I had a good time presenting it to you.
Now I know what is going on with me... I think I've never developed oxytocin hahaha!. I've never been interested into getting married or having kids. Thank you Dr. Taylor for all the information!
You make me laugh. Nothing is wrong with you, my dear.
“Ha, it happens again!” Lol I laughed , I woke up my husb😂
So true, there is noting that disciplines a woman like a a baby. I quit smoking suddenly in my pregnancies , just like that , no Champix ,nothing . Just quit .
Now I put up Xmas decorations les and les every year 😂
And now you understand the physiologic reasons behind all these things!
Really enjoyed this wham serious 👍👍
Love your top your wearing 🤣🤣Brill 👍😘😘
Thank you, Denise. I'm so glad you see the benefit in understanding the common threads.
Omgosh, lol, the spider analogy is really good!
Isn't it? I love using fun analogies that really get to the point of the matter.
Were you talking to me or about me Dr. Taylor? Well I don't care! Lol :) Yep, you summed it up--great job in this series. When I'm in TX I might look you up or not :) Thanks again.
I'm so glad this resonated with you, my dear. Don't look for me in Texas. I'm not there. But you can have a consultation with me no matter where you live because I do them all via video conferencing. You can schedule a consultation with me any time at MenopauseTaylor.ME.
Excellent!
Thank you!
Thank you so much 🏝🌴🤗
Happy to do it, as always.
Wow timing couldn’t have been better!!!!!!!
I love it when I get a comment that lets me know I'm serving your needs. That's my job.
Oh my ...if it wasn't on your channel I'd say no way a hat without lace, not you. Lol. Another great video. Thank you for the wham series. 3/4 through your other videos. What a great educator you are. I do wish I knew all this at least when I was in perimenopause. A must for all women to walk into the longest stage of their lives smiling & healthy.
So informational at any stage. I look forward to your next video. Enjoying my post, post menopausal life on my own. 💃
Thank you for your kind comment. My dream is for all women to get this education long before they need it. Ca you imagine how much better their lives would be if they all did that?
@@MenopauseTaylor yes!! Life would be enjoyed more at every stage of womanhood with understanding to make the best decisions for oneself!!
Exactly! You get it.
Your outfit is hysterical! I know someone whose oldest is pushing 40 she is not a friend I just know her and he calls her mama bear. It bothers me how these women act like martyrs and turn their kids into emotional cripples! Feeling guilty is not productive. I am sure you know that its just something that drags us down. Fun video as always!
Yep, the very job of parenthood is to raise your children so that they don't need you anymore. Somehow, things have gotten reversed over the last few generations. It used to be that kids needed their parents more than parents needed kids. Then, the parents needed their kids more than the kids need the parents. And now, parents teach their kids so little that the kids have no idea how to live without the parents. And all these changes have occurred during my lifetime!
@@MenopauseTaylor You hit the nail on the head! I told a woman who was always I just love you you are so sweet. (not really its just my demeanor it fools people LOL) My hubby says I lost my Oxytocin I think you called it years ago LOL! He loves me anyway. Anyway I told her to stop acting like a martyr and be happy that her kids are independent . She said she could not believe how "hurtful" I was being. Glad to know a normal woman! (you) You are the only woman I have ever heard say that!
I have no filter between my brain and my mouth. I just tell the truth.
@@MenopauseTaylor Refreshing!
Loved the easy to understand explanations. I'm new to your channel. When listening to your q and a, I thought "hmmm we have some similarities. " I always enjoyed other cultures and blended in easily. But, I wasn't very interested in science or math. I was, however, from the beginning fascinated in cosmetics. Lol. Thank you for sharing all your knowledge. So important. I think when people have a better understanding of what's going on, anxieties lessen. 😊❤🙏
Welcome aboard, Christina! You'll discover that you understand absolutely everything IF you watch all my videos in order starting with the very first one. My goal is to answer all your question before you evener have a chance to ask them.
And I respond to comments here on UA-cam daily ... which is good because I[m here to help you, but which is bad if you're not watching the videos in order because I'll be able to tell. Ha! I'm like your mother: I have eyes in the back of my head.
@@MenopauseTaylor lol.
Very informative. Thanks alot Doc.
You are so very welcome!
I LOVE that TShirt ❤
Thank you, my dear. My only T-shirts are the ones I buy for this education.
What if you never "fell" in love? I've been in menopause the last 3 years, yet my desire to get married is more intense now than ever before. I've never had an enduring connection, so it's something I yearn for now.
That's very understandable. You want something that you haven't yet experienced. And I hope you find that special someone.
This explains so much!!
I'm glad you see that you are completely normal.
Loved this series!
I'm so glad. You can now understand some of the common themes entailed with menopause. And that will help a lot with your management. Keep watching, my dear.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. You’re so unique and I love it 🥰
The pleasure is certainly all mine. I hope you can tell that I'm having fun.
WHAM BAM..... thank you MA’AM!!🤩🤣
It's my pleasure!
This is great info...thank you...
You are so welcome. Keep watching, my dear.
I've become an extreme introvert. I've thrown my hands up in the air and said I don't give a rats ass. Nothing people tell me at work can be trusted, especially our management.
I'd rather be left on a private island with the amenities I need. I'd be happiest alone with my cats, and other critters, than be around majority of humanity...
I used to care and fight for what was right/or needed. Now, I couldn't care.
Only other place where I feel alive is as a passenger on a cruise ship where I am appreciated and I can appreciate the crew and staff back.
You are not alone. Many women express similar sentiments.
Yes yes yes! I need to buy some oxytocin. I sure wish I could.
I have enjoyed the WHAM series. I have definately been WHAMED. Lol
I can relate to so much of what you have said in this Wham series.
I tell my family I am not the same woman I was before my sacropoplexy surgery in September. This woman is just done caring about so many things it is so freeing to me. I tell my family that the new me has experience a lot of good changes but that I am not sure that it pleases the. So much anymore. I say "no" more often now than I use to. I bent over backwards to make people happy. I stink enjoy doing many things for my family but not like I use to....
I am so anti-social now. I use to want to go out and do things and stay busy and being out and about. Now between the virus and post menopause, I just dont like being out and about anymore. People irritate me. Lol.
And I just told my husband that I am not all that excited that it is Thanksgiving this week and Christmas is coming up. Every year I put up less and less decorations. I enjoy buying gifts for my family and wrapping them but the decorating, the food, all of the work...not so much. 😬
And to think this is "normal" is odd.
I hear these same sentiments from woman after woman. You are completely normal. Let the family put put the decorations themselves. They'll be just lovely.
Barbie, could you change that piano music to something else?
What you described is me, at the age of 61, widowed, living with my four-legged rescued only son and very content to be at home, not socializing,…I think nature did that on purpose to get rid of us.
Any suggestions to get my thick and volumous hair back?
I can help you address your hair issues in a consultation. It requires tailoring specifically to YOU. If you want a consultation, schedule one at MenopauseTaylor.ME. I do them all online.
amazing video! yeah i dont want to be around anyone lol
Well, at least you know you're normal!
Mama gets unglued:)
Lol luv the shirt & hat
I'm somewhat of a goofball at times.
Thus make so much sense to me. I was beginning to think I was becoming a bitter old woman. How relieved I feel after watching this. I was waiting for you to say that we could take oxytocin supplements when you finished your talk saying they don't exist. Guess I still have a small amount left seeing as I want to try.
I'm so happy when I relive your concerns. Nope, it's now YOUR turn to put yourself first. In my seminars, I give all the women buttons that say "It's all about ME!
"
I wouldn't want to take an oxytocin supplement if there was one ; )
You are a power of a woman love you
Well, that's just the nicest thing ever. Thank you, my dear. I'm so proud of you for getting this education. Just keep on watching all my videos (in order, of course), and you will have "menopower."
Yes!
I'm laughing. Your one word says os much.
where to buy that t-shirt!??
Amazon! I buy a lot of prop materials on Amazon.
Another excellent video! While I’d like to have a bottle stashed full of oxytocin, I can also live happily with being able to speak out more. When your personality is one of a “nice girl”, it’s pretty shocking to husband and family when you no longer tolerate what you once did. It feels good to focus on what makes me content....love love you, Dr. Barbie. Xoxo💜
It's YOUR turn, my dear ... especially if you've always been the nice girl. Let everyone be nice to you for a change.
Validates the way I have been feeling. HRT question, The UK uses the NICE guidelines and say over age 45 with symptoms and even if still having a period than HRT is the recommendation. Here in the USA its different, and my docs will not give HRT in late 40's if still getting a period and rather give birth control pill and will do HRT once a full year without a cycle. I understand the pill has hormones high enough to turn off the brain ovary connection but HRT augments what the body is doing, is there any danger if I take HRT of my estrogen levels getting abnormally high? Thank you
Either way is entirely fine. There is no better or worse, right or wrong. It's a matter of preference and personal situation. You will not have "abnormally high estrogen levels" either way.
Oxytocin surging level is responsible for mother’s doing everything for their kids during the premenopausal period leaving your man aside ...:)
BWAHAHA ! I love your hats.
Well, this isn't one I would wear for anyone but you for teaching purposes.
I eat oxytocin I love red wine and dark chocolate focused on health I always have some purple plant to eat and I don't interact with humans before my 1st cup of strong starter fluid ☕ however it all seems to go to my deserving aging beagle we live in a tiny village and last month I moved from the 8×8 house my husband uses to a smaller tiny house in the village dedicated as an office for the company I work for because I was doing all the work and being nice as he was falling farther into addiction and being impossible I told him get off the shit he hasn't touched it since I moved from his house but I'm still waiting for his brain chemistry to restore knowing it will take several months We were hanging out and I offered my best treats no junk food but healthy treats and he started that classic addict mean and disrespectful behavior I said please leave he returned with the same attitude a few minutes later I said I'm not doing this please leave talk to me when you have adequate brain chemistry I don't need the cortisol increase I'm enjoying my time much more now with just my dog.I love my husband I'm committed for life but he will treat me right or we're not hanging out right now and I'm cool with this arrangement even if he's not thankfully I'm right next to the original cofounder my supervisor and good friend I'm also the primary T shirt maker for the company so I spend much time in this office space anyway
😀😀😀
Hello Friend! Thanks to (listening since your first video!) you I'm on HRT (Climara Pro) for a year now, and don't think I ever want to go off it! My Dr. just changed me to the Vivelle Dot (.05) and Premetrium (100 mg.). She said this natural progesterone has a slightly lower chance for breast cancer. I'm checking this out in your book, and I think there's something in there about it, but I can't find it. I wanted to check in with you and see if you had any comments or advice about this switch! XOXO
Natural progesterone carries a very slightly lower risk for breast cancer, but does not do as good a job at preventing uterine cancer. You see? Everything is about trade-offs. The very reason you need progesterone is tp prevent uterine cancer. So, do you use a sub-optimal form of progesterone to perform the very function that constitutes the only reason you're taking it?
@@MenopauseTaylor Thanks for the response! Is the uterine cancer risk also slight? I've tried to find out more about this, but I'm not having any luck. My Dr. says there is no increased risk of uterine cancer. I'm torn because breast cancer is easier to detect and easier to treat, but the Vivelle Dot/Premetrium has me sleeping amazing (this is most important), is cheaper and the patch is much smaller (obviously less important).
This is the kind of thing that requires a one-on-one consultation. We need to take many different factors into account and tailor them all TO YOU. I can't do that here in a comment box. So, I urge you to schedule a consultation. It's the only way to really ensure that you understand this fully and do the best thing for your personal situation.
I'm in the business of educating you about everything you need to know and do in order to get exactly what you want for managing your menopause your way. So, here's how a consultation works:
1) You would schedule a one-on-one consultation at my website, MenopauseTaylor.ME, choosing a time that is convenient for you. I do consultations on Skype, FaceTime. Facebook Messenger, What’s App, and the phone.
2) I would confirm that you are scheduled for the stated time, and invite you to send me as much information about yourself as you please. You can make it brimming with details and tell me about your reproductive life, any gynecologic problems you've had, your symptoms of peri-menopause, and your symptoms of post-menopause. You can include all your fears, concerns, and goals for your menopause management. You may also send me any labs, mammogram results, bone density results, etc. that you would like me to include in designing your protocol. For instance, if you want to adhere to a certain category of management options (herbs or diet & lifestyle, or whatever), you should tell me that. I would need all these things at least 1 week before your consultation with me.
3) I'll get busy creating a document that gives you all the education you need to understand absolutely everything, points put the pros and cons of each option, and tailors it all to YOU using the information you have provided. The document will be loooooong. Most are over 30 pages.
4) I will send you the document by email 48 hours before your consultation. You will benefit greatly by reading it in advance. Light bulbs will go off like crazy, and if you're like most women, you'll feel that you've already gotten your money's worth.
5) During your consultation, we will review the document and address any issues you want to fine tune everything and determine your best options. I'll tell you exactly how to find the right kind of professional, how to have the conversation in order to get what you want, and the nuances of things like guidelines and insurance. I leave nothing unaddressed.
6) You will go to a professional of your choosing in order to get the actual hormones or whatever you choose to use.
7) After the first consultation, I'll hold your hand (forever if you want me to). In other words, you'll be able to schedule mini-consultations (15-minute or 30-minute, in addition to full consultations) whenever you need to. I'll keep records of your situation. Most women schedule mini-consultation whenever they go to the doctor and don't understand what he or she said, or why. I translate. I make sense of everything. Most schedule mini-consultation whenever they have a new test and they want me to explain the results. And all schedule mini-consultation whenever their situation changes and they need to re-weigh and balance their options.
The time you spend with me will make everything about working with any other professional so easy. And they will love the fact that you have an actual education rather than a bunch of misconceptions that you got form the Internet. If your initial hormone regimen is not right, you'll want to consult with me before going to your doctor. I can prepare you for what to expect and what to request.
So, that's my role. And nobody else on earth does this kind of thing but me. So, I hope you schedule a consultation and let me hold your hand (figuratively).
I hope to meet you soon!
Oh it’s good news Barbie again 😏
You make me smile, my dear.
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼💖💁🏻♀️
Thank you, my dear. I'm glad you enjoyed this.
Ok, how do you explain having great sexual interest and feeling "Smitten" at age 57, but being a Celibate Christian, denying him anything of me almost three years now of business contact! I think about him all the time, but make no moves of any kind. Maybe I'm an "Outlier" as I WANT HIM FOR ME. OR Someone Else I Am Attracted To. I still want friends and company. 😋 P.S. He is not a Christian, so he is forbidden. I am not interested in anyone else...so far. By the way I am almost Sixty-one years old now!
You make me laugh. I love your passion. Don't change a thing.
Lisa Smith I think you are missing out . He may be the love of your life
