Rally cars are equipped with sequential for a reason mate. I am sure those drivers are faster than him. So if you wanna play sim, do it the right way. If this was a real car, that gearbox wudve been toast.
I built my own steering wheel, with sequiential shifter just for games like that,. Srquential shifting is very best for all kind of race games. i finishing the cover of my wheel , and later i will post a video and will back here to inform the link .
I thought it's a good driving at first, then I looked at the gears and i was disappointed. You put the car on first gear every time your reach a corner and want to slow down fast, do this on a real car and watch the engine or drive train get screwed.
Well, who knows. Racing games just don't feel real enough to me, nothing like my real car... It's a simulation but meh... The best racing game I've ever played was I'd have to say grand tourismo 3 on ps2 and need for speed most wanted on Xbox.

RBR is a simulator, Dirt is a game. This is why people still play it years later. There are hundreds of of fan-made cars, tracks, mods, etc. as well.
