I guess both versions felt different for you because of the video! For most Chinese folks, I think we prefer the Cantonese version (even though I don't really understand Canto), becauuse in our memories it's linked to the TV series (Return of the Condor Heroes 1995 version).
One of my favorite songs! I like the Cantonese version more because the lyrics are more touching and the Cantonese version goes well with the drama.
actually before these 2 versions still got 1 HK 1983 version the actor is andy lau 😊
