I've tried my best to put together the lyrics because the lyrics in the video is really different from what she is singing. I apologize if the lyrics are not 100% correct.
This lady is from Bijie prefecture, Guizhou province, China. They speak similar to Hmoob Leeg. Hope you enjoy this cover!

Judging from the many dialects and cultural differences of the Hmong, the Hmong kingdom at one point must've been pretty epic.

Just remember that wherever we live, the culture and the way we look always identify as Hmoob (Hmong). Hope that generation to generation in the future we all Hmong will be able to speak almost the same as we are here in Laos and America. Well done!

Basically those in Guizhou preserve a pre-Qing(Manchu) style Chinese dress, and their hair style too, even though during the Qing dynasty both Han and minority were required to dress like Manchu, but the rule was not that strict to minorities living in remote mountain regions. While Hmong from Yunnan( includes Hmong overseas) have a heavy southwest influence from the local Loloish groups, and at the same time half Manchunized.

Why Hmong in China has changed so much already, it's hard to understand what they are saying. So, the Hmong who has fled/ left China to live in Laos, Thailand, and Vietnam are the only one that still speak the Hmong native language and can easily understand each other. What will happen in the future between Hmong in China and Hmong in America and Hmong in Laos, Thailand, and Vietnam? Many young Hmong in American speak english, the one in China speak Chinese, the one in Laos and Thai speak Laos and Thai, and the one in Vietnam speak Vietnamese, this will change Hmong forever.

Are you sure we are the only ones who can still speak Hmong? What do you mean? And what Hmong dailect is the correct one? White? Green? Black? Stripe? Red? Flower? It is sad that we don't have to country to unite us all and keep 1 universal language. Luckily, due to modern-day technology, we finally even know that our Hmong still existed in other parts of the world, although we may not even understand each other anymore.

Umm, they still speak their own language. The reason why we Hmong in Southeast Asia and around the world can understand each other is because there are only White Hmong and Green Hmong dialects (and other smaller dialects still spoken) which they more or less can easily understand each other. Those in China have DOZENS of dialects (or languages really) and we won't understand most of them at all unless we carefully learn them. Just you know, when the Hmong people started settling into Southeast Asia, there were already distinct dialects (or languages), so the ones that left China just happened to be these particular dialects.
It is the fact that we didn't have a writing system (or we used to but it was lost) AND were isolated from each other (because of mountains and hills) that dialects and languages arose. It can also arise due to the surroundings who speak different languages. I just want you to know that all the modern languages that we speak are a newer version of the past, so the language we speak will always be changing no matter what because we as humans are constantly adapting to our surroundings and situations.
Now, if we are talking about the one who is a lot closer to our ancestors' way of speaking (meaning who is more conservative in speaking and vocabulary), it definitely has to be somewhere in China mostly because they were the ones who still stick to their homeland despite all odds against them. Those who stay tend to be the least changed (but also the most susceptible to losing their language if they were under severe oppression) while those who leave and migrate tend to change a lot quicker (because of new environments), but it may not always be the case if there are other factors in the mix. In my honest opinion, the Hmong outside of China is one of the dialects that has changed the most (noticeably in their pronunciation, especially the vowels), but they do still have some conservative sounds and vocabulary.
Anyways, that is all I have to say. Bye.

You can undesstand each other because you're descendants of people from the same place--border towns in Yunnan and Guangxi China. And your ancestors only left these hometowns less than 200 years. The time is too short and not enough to change much.
It's just natural this way, you see, in China, Hmongs from different dialect subgroups don't understand each other, it applies to almost all ethnics in China. Shanghainess don't understand Cantonese, a Yi people from Yunnan don't understand Yi from Guizhou, Tibtans from Lhasa don't understand Tibetans from Qinghai, some Zhuang people don't even understand the dialect in nearby village.
