The only top guys not influenced by Carbo were Robinson, he would not allow it and he was very proud, and Louis. Robinson paid the price for not playing ball with the mob. They shut him out of the LW title and it took years to get the WW title.
@@GilturnerknocksoutphonyFloyd the 0 on a modern day fighter is absolute nonsense because mostly they are given opposition they will out class buy a huge margin. today lomachenco was a world champ arfter 10 Pro fights and we're told arfter 12 he's the best lightweight of all time I'm pretty sure Duran could of gone a few rounds with him and tyson fury wouldn't of been in the top 15 heavyweights but I've heard commentators saying he on par with ALI 🤯🤯🤯
Remember folks these idiots are out here wanting to take what you are building or have built with your hard work and your body. And for what? It always does more harm than good trying to reach utopia. Everyone has a different version and to create yours always requires force, tyranny, and oppression.
That fight with Gil Turner 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💯
I met him at a boxing event in 1993.One of his daughters was with him.
People love heavyweights because they can do the one thing that they wish they could, but welterweight and under have MORE action and MORE power in my opinion...you usually get your money's worth from those fights!
My Cuban grandmother mentioned him
May God rest his soul
Gavilan reminds me so much of SRR -
It’s said that they both studied films of the excellent fighter Kid Chocolate who was the first cuban world champion
The bolo was first used by Cefarino Garcia of the Philippines.
