    Sir, I think the military are better to go and deal decisively with the kidnapping, insurgency and Boko Haram. One of the problems that cause hunger in Nigeria is insecurity. People cannot go to and work on their farms safely. The ministry of defence has been attracting a lion share of the Nigerian budget since 1999, but insecurity has been increasing, rather than decreasing.

    • @josepineegodibie8107
      @josepineegodibie8107 2 місяці тому

      That's what they are secretly planning to do by their heightened use of the word anarchy. They will try as usual to infiltrate the protesters with their armed thugs, touts and hoodlums to claim anarchy so as to justify their blood thirst to kill innocent protesters but it won't happen. Nigerians will protest and the heavens will not fall. His paymaster protested against a sitting President Jonathan so why is Tinubu affraid and is ensuring all his paid stooges in both the military and civilian populace are out as attack dogs to drum war for a simple peaceful protest by the Nigerian citizens? Abeg, let them go and face boko haram terrorists and bandits and fulani terrorists herders who are the main cause of high cost of foodstuff in the markets. This is leaving substance to chase shadows.
      By the way, what is the military doing in civil matters; ain't they ashamed of themselves with this unprovoked posturing?

They are only strong against armless,defenseless Nigerian civilians,they still can not face boko haram and bandits in the north years on nevermind foreign aggressor..Nigerians are kidnapped, killed daily in the north by bandits,the Nigerian army dont see that to face,instead they are bragging about facing protesters.😂If an opposition could cause a country to protest that means the government in power has failed.That is why it's an opposition,against the government,not meant to support the government.lf a foreign entity can convince a nation to protest that means the government in power has failed.

    The same Nigeria Army that shot and killed protesters holding the Nigeria flag in 2020? Why didn’t the journalist ask about that? What does the military have to do with politics and opposition? He kept saying opposition parties like they have a party they support. Our military should be unbiased and stand for law and order and if they are ever to pick a side it should be that of the citizens of the federal republic of Nigeria whom they serve not a political party or the government.

    When you do these types of interviews it would be wise if you can always allow Nigerians to have direct communications with these guys because they have a lot of questions to answer.

    Ask General Buba if he is enjoying the cost of living in today’s Nigeria under over 1 year of Tinubu rule? The protestors are protesting Tinubu bad governance. The army should stop help this kind of bad regime to rule Nigerians. Corruption is killing all Nigerians. For God sick, the army should let the people speak.

    How can Nigeria be better when you can't even say the truth? People are hungry they are crying for food, and you are saying that it could be terrorist, foreign government, or opposition. For God sake the opposition are not Nigerians like the president? Why is this corruption everywhere, Nigeria is going nowhere? This country is dead, and these people are killing this country.

    Focus on the people planning to hijack the protest to make it violent, the organizers or planners shouldn't be your concern as a security agent

    Nigerian Army should be the busiest military in the world considering the number of terrorists sects in the country. Why would the military get involved in a civil action even before the commencement of the protest.

    So he knows the people are frustrated. Why don't the government address the frustrations of the people so that they do not fall prey to those people who he alledges to be against the state.
    Trying to use fear and intimidation against the people who are already frustrated will infuriate them instead.
    The military has its plate full and should focus on that. If farmers could access their farms and grow crops, prices of food wouldn't have skyrocketed leading to the hunger in the land. They are not even addressing the primary issues.
    If they think they can come out and kill or violate the rights of the people to protest, they should be ready to account for their actions at the Hague. We will ensure their actions are captured and broadcasted before the world and petitions against such actions will flood the UN and International Court of Justice (ICJ). This is the era of technology. Nowhere to hide for atrocious actions.
    So sad the military has now being politicized and they are openly taking sides with the political party in power. Nigeria is so close to dictatorial rule. The opposition parties destroyed by agents of the ruling party, the National Assembly, Judiciary, Military, Police are now in the pocket of the executive ready to do its bidding. Real danger stares Nigerians in the face. Why am I surprised? How was Lagos governed? Was it not the same way. It is the Lagos template that they are trying to replicate. We will see.
