Error at 12:40: white event cube will remove all the rubble from 4 whole spaces and NOT just 4 cubes. Otherwise really appreciate the solo playthrough of the 2012 version. Good job!
@@BoxofDelights Yeah, noticed that after i posted my comment. Just thought that it needs to be pointed, as i made the same mistake a couple of days ago when i played the game first time, and it does make a huuuuge difference to the end result. Also, didnt notice until you mentioned that this video is actually 7 years old :o, well atleast this shows that it is still useful to snowdonia newbies like me :)
Thanks a lot for your explanations! There was one error: the white cube would have cleared all the rubble up to the first card after the station. White cubes clear whole cards, not single rubble cubes.
One other comment. In the past I have been tempted by worker placement games, but Snowdonia is the first I have found which has a really good solo play mechanic (with random weather, random contracts, and the all important event track). So it is a great introduction to these kind of games for my channel !
Good question. The values are on the board, and you place your Ownership Tokens on the spots to claim the points and then you count them up at the end. I'll show you next episode ! Rick
It's not that complex really as the info is right there on the board. Try the rest if the series, and hopefully it will click. That's the aim of my video play-throughs.. to get folks up and running quickly without having to digest the rulebook... and of course to help you decide if the game is one for you. Enjoy the rest of the series, Rick.

yes - that was already noted by benji68. I don't often forget that now, 6 years later!

Well observed.. yes it was a big old blunder. I'm glad I wasn't the only one to trip on it then! Hope you enjoy the game.. great choice!

Yes, I think so too. Solo is a good way to get the rules down and get your fix whilst waiting for your buddies.

Hmm, is anyone else missing the audio on this video? Episode 1 worked fine.
should be fine. Try switching it off and on again......
lol, I will give that a try
Ah, already corrected ;) great job!

How do you keep track of the score?
Shouldn't you get a bonus from the weather, getting your excavation to 6?
Hmmmm.... don't know... this game looks to be very complex. Well, maybe my brain has rotten with all the ameri thrash I've seen
