Colonia Del Valle is a neighborhood of the Benito Juárez mayor's office, Mexico City. Born as an aristocratic recreational neighborhood in the Porfiriato era, it has witnessed the different transformations of the capital over time.
Its oldest reminiscent dates from the 16th century, the town of San Lorenzo Xochimanca; after a gradual development, it underwent a structural rearrangement in the late nineteenth century, which was accelerated with the division of the area for the elite of that time; After the Mexican Revolution and the important changes that occurred during the 20th century, they marked what today stands out as one of the areas with the greatest development and infrastructure of communication, transport and services in the country.3
With numerous green areas, such as Parque Hundido or Parque de los Venados, roads such as Avenida de los Insurgentes, shopping centers such as Centro Coyoacán, shops, hospitals such as the National Medical Center 20 de Noviembre del ISSSTE, cultural venues such as the Academia Mexicana de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográfica or the Polyforum Cultural Siqueiros and some monuments, is considered one of the reference points of the city, listed as one of the areas with the highest added value in Mexico.
