hi there. thank you for the scarf video. I tried it after following your instructions. unfortunately there were a lot of holes in the scarf. its ok when wearing it double like you showed in the video. could you tell me what I did wrong? thanks for your help
Hi, You probably layed the wool out a bit thin in certain areas. When you wet the wool before adding the top silk hankie layer, I suggest you double check that wool is covering everythink. If you find some small gaps, these will be larger once the wool is felted and shrunk. Better luck on your next one!
I tried making the silk hankie scarf you made. Everything is good except some of the edges of the silk hanikie are very pronounced in then piece, want did I do wring? Could you help please?
Hi Deborah, The reason why some of the edges of the hankies are too pronounced could be because either the hankie could be even more separated or that the edge itself is too thick. When this occur, I normally pull the silk further into the hankie layout.
Beautiful technique! Thank you for sharing!
This is lovely! I'm going to make probably some nice buttons from silk hankies and beads for some knitted items.
Some great tips for using those silk hankies!

Grazie bellisssimo
Войлок брутально смотрится на мужчинах.👍
I lay out 2 hankies next to each other, 12 in length on both sides of wool ('sandwich'). Enjoy

@@ullform7160 thank you so much. Will try what you suggested. Love your video, scarf is beautiful
How many hankies did you lay across when you started? What is a 12 by 2?
Was it 12 hankies long by 2 hankies across?
