I like this one best out of all. I think it's the rawest. The being spotted part gives off a raw feeling of terror and adrenaline. Like that of being hunted. There are some positive sounding notes too, that give a feeling of fighting back-perhaps, but I think this is the darkest, scariest one.
Exactly. For me, it's the scariest gang, they're not retarded, they know what they're doing and enjoy it. They enjoy hunting and making the victims suffer. they kinda remind me of some Mexican cartels.
I really loved the zoo. The grey fogginess of the sky and the empty and dark animal dens were so awesome. It really made the place feel so dead and lost. Makes me wonder what the zoo was like before Carcer City went to hecc
That's one of the best parts of the game's soundtrack. Instead of the usual orchestra score, Rockstar decided to take a cue from the soundtracks of John Carpenter and countless 1980 slasher films. It works so well it's not even funny.

The combat theme really conveys how aggressive and relentless the Wardogs are.

@@James-p3k3x They are the gang with the largest number of latin descendants, but they all act and sound like they were soldiers.
I love the Bass in the Spotted and Combat themes, such a great hook, and it gets so humongous and angry in Combat.
Both this and "View of Innocence" had the most badass combat music.
"Doorway into hell"
One of the best Idle and Combat themes
For sure.
I like the Suspicious and Combat in this music.

This is one of the best soundtracks ever, it has such tension/emotion and atmosphere. Thanks for the upload.
I love the unsettling sound effects that play in the background, especially that creepy metal sound at 14:34.
That's when they spotted you and you close to them, it is like that in the backrouund in every soundtrack
If you listen carefully, you may even hear some distant screaming. It’s friggin’ terrifying! 😱
@@MoskHotel for me, it sounds like an elk XD
It also shows up in Doing Time
I love this track. It’s got some 1980s horror vibe to it! 😎

Rockstar still uses that Synth sound in it's current games. Manhunt a favourite.
@@tommyvercetti5711 Yeah, look at Slasher Mode on GTA Online. Nice to know that Rockstar hasn't forgotten about Manhunt.
Yeah Slasher Mode was a favourite Adversary mode certainly an ode to Manhunt. They should really consider Remastering Manhunt.
@@tommyvercetti5711 Yeah, or they do Manhunt 3. Either one would be nice!
May not be the scariest one but it sure is badass as hell on the combat phase
Sounds like it’s straight out of John Carpenter’s Halloween soundtrack. Love it
I purposely got spotted sometimes because the combat music is so badass, and so good for working out to
0:06 sounds like a siren
This had to be inspired by Melissa in Wonderland in the House on Haunted Hill soundtrack
9:01 só Deus sabe o pavor que dá ver aqueles wardogs te perseguindo com machetes enquanto toca essa música 😭
it sounds like slasher movies
