- A Woman in BHubhneswar made serious allegations of physical and sexual assault against the local police in Odisha . She claims that she was sexually harassed and her partner, an Army Major, was unlawfully detained. This incident took place when the couple visited Bharatpur Police Station late at night of 16 september to file a complaint. The woman who was arrested last week on charges of assaulting police officers and vandalizing police station’s property. She made these revelations after being released on bail on Wednesday, September 18.

I am shocked to find that along with that rg kar case, numerous cases happened in other parts of country, shameful like father raping daughter in Mp, ayodhya staff getting rapd, nurse rapd in uttarakhand, maharastra child sexual abuse, bihar dalit girl rap and another girl gangrap, assam rap of minor. But only in rgkar protest is happening even after 41 days. But main media is not even covering those other cases! Thats not right. Its not time to play politics. Daughter's life are being ruined.

I agree 100%. Because these kind of rapes happen every single day. The indian citizens have become so used to this kind of violence they don’t feel it anymore. If you discuss rape news with anyone they say - oh this happens frequently in india. But nobody has the guts to speak against the system which favours rapists and murderers.

Do you know meaning of SUSPEND ? . If dont know , dont say . By SUSPEND , they will again be back to work.
These police officers should be FIRED from jobs and should not be allowed to job again in POLICE. And they should be KEPT IN JAIL FOR LIFE TERM TO IN JAIL..

See in india.. politicians, businessmen, army,navy, airforce every one, once entering the police station will give a scene as if they own that place and they want police to be their servent to do whatever they want to do. One. Version is( In this case ) the army officer and his girl friend were drunk to the extreme and barged into the police station to complain about some road rage. These two love birds might have shown their might and may have gone overboard with high handed behaviour (maybe threatened, shouted or even went physical) and the police MAY have reacted in kind for their behaviour they received... otherwise there is no way police could ever react that way.
News channels are showing the army man version and getting sympathy for their own version.

Also rape culture came to India once Turks attacked, starting with the rape and murder of Queen and Princesses of Sindh. It's always the police are portrayed as villan... listening only to one side, one version, their crying, wailing and Story telling ability,....need not necessarily be the actual thing that happened on that day in the police station. News reports say that the army man and his girl friend we Drunk to extreme levels when they arrived at the police station. We all know that extremely drunk behaviour, is counter product and just doesn't work at many situations.
Only a proper investigation can bring out the truth in this case, else we can give judgement and punishment by just listening to any complaint anyone, stay one sided and close the case.
