    A classic dish of French cuisine! It's a delicious combination of roasted or stewed duck in a citrus-orange sauce, often served with orange slices or zest to enhance the flavor. The sweetness of the orange complements the flavorful meat of the duck very well.
    📄 Ingredients:
    about 1.5 kilos of whole duck, gutted and head cut off
    Salt and black pepper to taste
    For follow-up
    1 kilo of washed unpeeled potatoes
    2 onions, quartered
    1 head of garlic cut in half
    herbs to taste: thyme, bay leaves ....
    2 to 3 oranges, cut into slices
    3 tablespoons orange liqueur
    For the sauce
    1/4 cup vinegar
    juice of 1 orange
    3 tablespoons of honey
    2 cups of chicken or vegetable broth
    1 to 2 teaspoons of cornstarch
    2 tablespoons butter at room temperature
    orange zest to taste
    Notes: Roast the duck at 325°F for about 1 hour. During this time in the oven, I recommend turning it over, so it roasts completely on both sides.
    Finally add the marinated oranges and orange zest, return to the oven at 450°F to brown.
    Each oven differs from one another and also to the weight of the duck, so pay attention to the roasting time and the doneness of the meat as desired.
    If you want, season the duck, put it into the fridge and let it marinate.
