I ran my shiny blastoise as a special attacker moveset: surf, ice beam, dragon pulse, shell smash ability: torrent item: white herb tera type: dragon to catch grass and electric users off guard it's a beast

I like making blastoise a physical wall and having it run heavy duty boots and rapid spin then use him for rain dance with flip turn. Then whatever move my team needs last, another water move, haze or ice beam for example.

I actually thought of a risky play you could’ve made with the hitmontop trying to intimidate spam. Since you predicted the switches you might’ve gotten away with shell smashing as he switched 😂. But it was risky. Still I love physical Blastoise I didn’t know it got wave crash. I think I’m gonna build one now

Since Shell Smash boosts both ATK and Spec ATK, wouldn't a mix set would work for Blastoise (interchange Wave Crash for Hydro Pump, etc)?
