The song is Breeze by the great Mitch Murder and he associated the song to a totally awesome documentary called Skateboard Kings from 1978 about the Lords Of Dogtown (Stacy Peralta and Tony Alva among the others) where you can spot the legendary Sunset Strip.

These 480 Volvo's are not Swedish, these are Dutch Design(John de Vries) and build in the former DAF factory in Born a city the Netherlands.

I am currently contemplating buying a volvo 400, on the outside I really like the 440 and 460, they are more practical and cheaper to run if you buy a diesel one but every time I see the inside of a 480, I simply forget any other car exists.

Compared to the 440/460 series, the 480, in my opinion, is something completely different. Much easier to love over time. It´s just so much more interesting as a car and it is parked in a brighter spotlight on Volvo´s model timeline. Go for the 480. I cannot see that you would ever regret that and start longing for a 440/460 while seated in that sporty seat. Best of luck finding a nice example! Come back here and show it to us.

Sublime looks with more than a hint to the jaw dropping style of the P1800. I was envious when my colleague aquired one (initially) but jeez I still have nightmares of what he went through on his behalf commencing 1987 so forgive me for saying, the electrics, instrument panel, window seals, drive shafts, sun roof cabin build and gearbox were all 'treated' under warranty in that 1st. year. Volvo found their conventional way again S**B sacrificed everything
I had the 480 and at the time it was a quite fun car. Drives reasonably smooth and fun interior for the time. Suspension is quite soft and it like to roll very easily for me its way too soft. Biggest drawback was the front with some gas or wet weather and your front wheel are jumping not able to put the power down. Like the rest of the volvo family you dont see them so much anymore

Är väl ändå Volvos egna tillvalsratt som idag är rätt så eftersökt av många?
I alla avseenden är det en Volvo-ratt. Det var dekoren som förde mina tankar åt Saab-hållet, vill minnas att de erbjöd något liknande till 900:an.

I got a 1995 Turbo GT, wonderful car. If you plan to buy make sure you get a 1995/1994 low mileage. Make sure the rear fenders are rust free. It is a bitch to repair and takes a lot of cash doing it proper. Most other stuff can be fixed, join a 480 forum for help with problems, all has been done before and solved.
