I passed my driving test today, October 12th. Thank you so much for this video. I don't have enough time to practice it on actual because I just saw your video few days ago & We don't have our own cones. So, I just kept on watching your videos and it helped me a lot to have my driver's license. 😘
I used The Next Street for my driving school when I was 17. Now revisiting it at 22 because I haven't had to parallel park in a looong time! Thanks for posting!
I can't help but notice that all of these guides are in cars and for cars, some people drive larger vehicles, My first vehicle happens to be full-sized SUV that's 19' long, a friends is a full-sized truck, these instructions don't really apply to vehicles that large.
All of those videos work for trucks as well. I use the side mirror as a starting point in a car. I align my side mirror with the car's side mirror. If i'm in a truck, i will move a bit more forward, but when i'm in a smaller car, i will start a bit behind it. It always works.
I can say this is one of the best tutorials on parallel parking. The reference point (at 1:27) for determining 45 degree angle to straighten the wheel is different from the one used by ParkingTutorial channel, but both are equivalent and accurate.
personally the trick that I use that I back up slowly until the right bumber of the car behind me get hidden so I turn the wheel to the opposite side and it's done..
You should avoid it as much as you can. It puts a bit of unnecessary wear on your steering mechanism and a lot of unnecessary wear on your tires. If you do it once or twice, or during a lesson or test, then it shouldn't be a problem. Just don't make a habit of it.
This is the best description/ guidance video to learn parallel park small to medium size cars. The process has been split into logically different parts of the exercise. Thanks

I apply this most especially if the space not one and one half the length of my car and its working thanks
The information was really good BUT the back ground music was simply unbearable and a great hindrance to concentrate and understand. Thank you
I'm confuse with the turns on the steering wheel on the second turn wish there's a slow mo on how to turn the steering wheel

Maybe you shouldn't be driving a big ass car if you barely know how to drive LOL

What’s sad is that there are barely any parking spaces that are 1 and 1/2 car lengths in NYC 😢😢😢😢
Music is very disturbing. Terrible. Can you imagine me studying for an exam with music in my ears?.
The background noise was so loud.
Wish me luck guys I take my driving test tomorrow
The best so far, thank you,it's not that hard, just follow these steps and you'll be fine guy's, practice practice

Good video but narration is too fast to follow. Also the background music is disturbing.
Mine is tomorrow hopefully this helps 😰

My Road Test is tomorrow. If I pass, I'll come back and like every last one of these videos
You shouldn't be dry steering, though!
My instructor says it's okay... I'm so confused

You can fit a truck in that space.
For real this space can hold a truck
I laughed so hard. Perfect stress relief for my test lol.
still hard for me
So difficult.

So easy. Thank you Sir
This made my day. Thank you!
Very good
Do all dmvs make you parallel park during the road test?
believeyourself92 Depends on the state. I know that New York does, but Florida doesn’t
The difference in my is that I gotta move forward as the last step smh
Looking good Scott
Awesome video. Thank you so much Sir.
lost me at half inch before the c-post (even though there is a diagram - what is a c-post?)
what if there is traffic behind you?
Vishnu Gadepalli maybe signal to show them you're about to park parallel and they'll just go around you or they might wait for you to park then go.
Stop and wait for traffic to pass you
The best explaining thank you
Good
Mine is tomorrow this hopefully helps
