  • The cattle had been in this section of pasture and one of them was missing so I went down there looking for her. Found her shortly after this video ended. She was lagging behind the herd and got left behind, not a good sign. She had been hauled in a truck about 10 days before this from the farmer I bought her from and had 'shipping fever', a disease brought on by stress. She had not been vaccinated for Shipping Fever. By the way, this is NOT an mrna vaccine. She needed an antibiotic shot or she would die within about 36 hours. The vet said that Penicillin would not do the trick and a stronger antibiotic was needed. Penicillin became less effective because of antibiotics being FED to cattle, not because it was given in shots. Since Penicillin has been fed to cattle in feed yards, the bugs have become resistant to it. Now we need more potent antibiotics or our cattle die. Thank you, Confined Animal Feeding Operations.
