Well executed, and I’ve prepared something similar. But out of respect for AJ and the fact that she’s still deriving some income from the streamed concert (yes I know it’s not on Eventbrite), I refrained from posting.

This is so beautiful from both singers. Those two should absolutely consider to sing together, it´s magic. I saw this when Angelinas sung it at her christmas consert. It grabbed me than and it grab me now. Lovely done by Kaleidoscope RMX and I hope Angelina and Lauren like it to.

I have been giving a lot of thought about this video. I researched the artist, a Christian singer, she is special with this song, It is ashamed that this performance is deemed inappropriate, I believe we all need these wonderful artist and human beings in our lives. I love Angelina.

Angelina performed this song on her Christmas Special which was never publicly released to the public. Most "Angels" felt like the song should not have even been used if not approved by her family a d team. FYI, the family has not commented on this particular release.
@@colinhuggins268 In a message from Angelina to her patrons, of which I am one, she requested that the Xmas Special not be copied and released to the public. I assume she felt the same about any part of the show (which was about 90 minuites long), including her wonderful performance of "You Say", which she ended the Special with. Almost all of her patrons honored that request. I am torn about this, because while I feel bound to honor Angelina's request, I also believe this is one of the very best performances of her career. It just blew me away when I saw/heard her perform it. As you can tell, only the audio was copied and released. I truly wish Angelina had released the video on her official channel. All her fans, and the world, deserve to see/hear it. Best wishes, David.

@@Bill2982 Hi Bill, all great songs time will tell , personally I hope there are not more than 1 or 2 covers , with mostly original songs , I think the label will want to promote ANGELINA as a new fresh original talent and not label her as a cover artist especially not being compared to ADELE. if you take ADELE as a example for her debut album 19 as I recall she only had 1 cover " make you feel my love " Bob Dylan and she transformed that song and made it her own and it wasn't her 1st single , that was "chasing pavements " perhaps it's best to cover a male artist to avoid comparison. Just found it! I'm so happy! Came back for another visit. Someday, if Lauren would make a guest appearance on an Angelina Concert and they sang this together, it WOULD BLOW THE ROOF OFF! The audience would be screaming for them to, "Do it again! Do it again!"
The event will get more and more recognition when Angelina's popularity quadruples and it will be very deserving because the virtual duet you created for us is beyond special. It is a musical moment for the ages!

This is a tear jerker... no other AJ's song made me cry as much apart from her cover of "Always on my mind". I know there is a love-hate relationship with uploading this song to UA-cam against her (or her team's?) wishes. Truth is, it's already been put out there on the internet and it belongs to us now, taking this video down now will be useless at this point so why not make something positive out of it, this performance has the power to change lives and that should be enough to keep it on here.
This is just out of this world. Angelina is singing this cover in the same tone as the original but you can clearly hear Angelina’s voice with those beautiful and colorful vocals.
I can see the logic in rewarding fans who support ANGELINA via patreon but I believe the decision to permanently deny all other fans the pleasure of hearing her solo version is divisive , why not after say 3 months allow non patreon fans to hear her solo version that way patreon members are rewarded and other fans don't feel excluded .unless of course its not just about rewarding patreon members but more about gaining more financially from her Christmas concert.?

When I first heard Lauren Daigle, I thought Angelina had a new song - that's how similar the two voices are. Angelina, however, has a very soulful timbre in her voice by which you can finally recognize her.
I believe there are Angles among us; how can two different singers sound so alike, yet Lauren Daigle is a Christian singer, and Angelina is a Jazz singer? They both must be haven sent.
You guys picked the two best singers on the planet and the right song to make what has to be the very best virtual duet I have ever witnessed. You have truly mastered the art of video editing. More... Please.

I was of that opinion but I've changed my mind I believe it would be better to avoid any comparison for ANGELINA to cover a male artist, that's if any covers are on the album at all , if so I hope just 1 or 2 only.

I respect the good work, guys, but I don't agree with its publication. After Angelina's express request not to release the material of the concert, this is a lack of respect towards her, the voice is hers is has the right to decide the timing of publication. I would not wait for a block, I would remove it out of respect for her towards her.

As much as I respect the work that you are doing, I respect Angelina and her family more. If Angelina and RR let this ride, I will be quite surprised. I know that they respect the beautiful work that you are doing with content that Angelina has put out there and that this is a beautiful example ... but I'm sure that making an exception in this use of unreleased, copyrighted content (even if just audio) would not be a good decision for them to make. I think the evolution of Angelina may be just going through some trying times and we all just need to be patient.

One of them is using anything from Angelina's official or cover channels, and another is using anything from this christmas concert. This one is even more of a line as Angelina herself has not publicly released this song anywhere. RR and Astar Ent own Angelina's content, and should be the only ones deciding when something gets published publicly. Kaleidoscope is not affiliated with Angelina in any way, and should not be making that decision on their own. ...regardless of how much thought they have put into it.

Both singers seem filled with the spirit, but Lauren gets full credit for the composition-and for the contemplation from which it sprang. AJ’s unique voice slightly edges LD’s, but isn’t that true about AJ and every other first-class singer on earth?

Like you, I love this song by Angelina and look forward to Angelina releasing it herself. Though I much appreciate all of your past support of Angelina I do not here. Taking the timing of the official release of this song out of Angelina's and MIchael's hands and presenting it in this manner is in my opinion more than extremely disrespectful. If you had their direct approval first then that would be different. But taking it upon yourself in making this decision is IMHO wrong. I am disappointed that you took it upon yourself to do this especially when Angelina has given us all so very much.
I just hope people can hear the difference between these two great singers. They complement each other beautifully.

In my opinion, Angelina's version was not yours to publish in any sort of way. This is part of her Christmas concert, ONLY intended for people who bought a ticket to the show.
If Angelina and her management decided not to upload it to her official channel yet, there must be a reason we should all respect.
I suspect that Angelina, and her management team are very upset about low ticket sales for her concert, and are thinking she has put out way too many free videos, and TIKTOK snippets in the past which effected ticket sales, You have to take into account her Subscriptions on her official channel was around 632,000 at the time of the concert Ticket sales were reported to be only a little over 1000, so they extended the cut off date to Dec.31. That is shameful. I would love to see her management team come out with Christmas Concert C/D's on her merchandise channel, that would help the situation somewhat, Most C/D's today sell for $15.00 new. I would buy a dozen , keep 2, and give the rest away to help promote her.

Although I absolutely love Angelina's version of this song, it pains me to tell you guys that I do not agree with your posting this video. Only because of what Angelina has said about not taking material from her patreon or other venues and posting to you tube etc. As much as I want to, because you guys do excellent work! I will not listen to it here. I will continue to wait patiently for her official release. In no way is this meant to sound elitist, I just think we should all respect her wishes.

Try this for yourself if you don’t believe what I’m about to say….
Close your eyes and listen to the whole track and try to guess when Lauren is singing and when Angelina is. Apart from the fact both are great singers, and the obvious tonal quality of Angelina’s unique voice, when Angelina sings my soul responds, I get shivers and it feels like she’s touching me on the inside, it just inexplicably moves me! There is something truly spiritual about the way Angelina communicates when she sings!
Lauren is a really great singer of that there is no doubt, but Angelina is a truly, truly great artist, and therein lies the difference!
Said this before on other Angelina videos but after listing to this one with the blind test I’m still saying it, Angelina is destined (IMHO) to become the greatest female vocalist of this century!
Her ability to make listeners feel what she sings (every time) is truly unbelievable, and so unique!
How lucky we are to be here to witness this!

As has been said, both versions are similar and beautiful. Lauren has religious roots and her song appeal is affected by that.

You do some great work, much enjoyed, with Angelina's performances. But at the moment I can't bring myself to watch this one. Angelina performed this for her patrons and kindly requested that it not be copied. That wish should be respected. If not taken down, it could also open the door to a rash of poor quality reaction videos or those simply aimed at making some money off Angelina. Anybody who wants to see the full version, her new performance of Bohemian Rhapsody etc, should simply join her Patreon.

As good as this is (and it is very good) I considered it and came to believe it is in conflict with Angelina's wish that this remain private for her Patreon and Christmas concert attendees. That is her right. With the goal of supporting Angelina's wishes and in recognizing that this (her version) has not been released publicly I would respectfully recommend you take it down.

Daigle and AJ sound a lot alike, at least in this song. However, I think AJ is more "full" (not quite the right word), while Daigle is more clear. As good as AJ is, she needs breathing and diction lessons.
Kaleidoscope did a good job intercutting the two singers, proving how similar their voices are-and maybe their spirituality too, except that at about 3:20 K lost the beat.
I was keeping time (the time signature is 4/4 I think), because I was interested in when the choir’s response “I” three times in each chorus would come so I could sing along. It was on the 4th beat each time until the editing after 3:20 foreshortened it.
Try it yourself. It’s fine with both LD’s and AJ’s individual performances, but the K editors apparently couldn’t make it work in the final chorus of this very interesting virtual duet. I hope they will go back in and make it perfect.

When I saw her perform this on the Christmas Show my heart missed several beats until I could handle the enormity of what i was seeing. The maturity of her voice is spellbinding and when compared to such a beautiful original it really does show how absolutely unique her vocals are. You are bound to face certain negativity by posting it but in your defence the Record company have had 4/5 weeks to show it and haven't. Unless of course they were thinking this song was a perfect one to take her to another level, if so get your skates on Republic, it's dog it dog out there! I love your work, very clever and stylish, keep the AJ train rolling.
