Great boat!!! Finally somebody figured out that you can sail without wet and Cold, forget the machotalk. Would be nice with a small joystick for manual steering on the inside so you dont have to fiddle with the autopilot.
I am looking for a boat about this size for circumnavigation including all 7 continents in a 3-4 year project. This Moody 54 DS is one of the top on my list. There are however I few things on the wish-list. 1. Most important is draft, 2,25m shallow still dont cut it for me as I need to enter some really shallow places. Is it possible in the future that you will add a 3rd option by "swing keel" like example Southerly has or something similar? 2. We will be 2 and occation max 4 persons. Is it possible to make 1 or 2 of the mid cabins a workplace instead of another bedroom and if so use that precious bathroom area to make the original bigger? 3. Love the idea to have the galley down below but instead of making a chart table in the back, make it bigger and wider in the front windows. 4. Can there be a targa wing in the back for cones and antennas? Other then that, great boat.
+KingMinosxxvi , Yachting world did a test. You can see it here on youtube. At that time they were doing dubble digits so I guess that is pretty good for a monohull.
I've seen half a dozen videos on UA-cam about this model and only now am I getting a proper survey. excellent job!

+KingMinosxxvi I have seen a video were they mention a top speed of 22 knots. More then enough for cruising boat, don't you think! ;-)
