I don't get why stage 4 comes after 3. 4 I think is the astro tube and 3 is the spaceship. Logically they player would start at the surface and travel all the way to the space station. However if in order of difficulty, 4 is a lot harder than 3 (until you figured not to focus on the scrolling background while playing)
I vaguely remember the North American name S.C.A.T., but this is one of those titles I can't honestly recall if I ever played and beat. Obviously it's Contra with jetpacks plus a few Gradius and R-Type elements. It even sounds like a Konami game while sort of looking like one. Not a bad concept. Could make for a good indie 2D shmup in 2022.

The last boss music here was also used for the last boss in Kage (Shadow of the ninja), both from Natsume. SCAT was released a few months before Kage.
I didn't know this game but now I realize it's basically a copy of 'Forgotten Worlds' by Capcom.
