She's not underrated she got fans all over even in Korea and you got some Korean ppl who never heard of Rihanna but know Tamia. She just not that active and the music she recently released was trash
To this day, I still don't understand how she didn't become a *World Renowned Superstar;* she has immense talent, the looks Hollywood adores, the stage presence, rhythm, charisma etc.

GarageStudio really? You don’t understand? She has a great voice and she’s beautiful but she’s boring as hell. I don’t know what you see but she’s never had stage presence, or charisma. She’s also cookie cutter. While you can tell she tries to be sexy (i.e. this outfit) something always disconnects with her. She’s never had the songs,the look, and the total package working at the same time. That’s why she never blew up.
GarageStudio I would say it’s a mix of her health and her morals. She wasn’t willing to sell her soul and everything attached to it.
Munsjvc2 morals? Do you not see what she’s wearing in this video? I’m not saying she doesn’t have morals but she isn’t afraid to be sexy. So what soul was she not willing to sell. Can people stop using that as a talking point? It’s null and void. And her health didn’t play a role until later in her career. Tamia’s been out since ‘96 and always flew under the radar. Like I said she’s boring.

All of the good r&b singers like her, Deborah Cox, Monica, Keke Wyatt and Ledesi stay true to their craft but a lot of folks aint trying to see that. The masses only buy your music if you are half naked and twerking these days, IMHO.
She didn't have the right people backing her. She is so talented. She is too old to be coming out dressed like that. She has talent, she's naturally pretty, and don't have to show skin, unlike some of the others (BK) with children.
It is costume to her, have you ever seen Tina Turner in concert.
