Well, it is possible to justify the pickaxe being extremely durable by the notion that nori is using the pickaxe merely as a tool to use her solver powers. She was probably using her powers to keep the pickaxe together and it was probably just an object to apply force through.

Nori and Yeva both got the patch, the solver saying "Thanks for the new host" was before the crucifix was used. But as we saw the explosion happened only a bit after Nori got the patch, and all humans died so no one actually changed Nori's data in the terminal.
Both of their daughter got the absolute solver, but they seem to not have the patch, allowing them to be possessed.

At 47:09 Im pretty sure that that was Cyn but she mixed her body with Tessas human skin so thats not Tessas neck and that weird girl was V the entire time she just had a maid dress and im pretty sure it was a hologram because the last time Cyn saw V was in a maid dress so she didnt know what V was wearing in episode 6 but N did so that explains why he was freaking out and knew something was wrong when he saw V its a good thing that you're funny or else a lot of people would be getting triggered the entire time 😂

Fun fact: The name of the episode is a triple entendre.. "Mass Destruction" as in, massive wide-reaching destruction, "Mass Destruction", since Cyn's whole motif is using black holes, which destroy matter and turn it into energy, which has no mass. And "Mass Destruction", because it's taking place in a church, and a religious congregation is called a Mass.

i think the easiest way to remember is to just rewatch previous episodes. it would explain things like earth being a different planet than the one the show takes place on, cyn blowing up earth first THEN coming to the planet we're on. Yeva being basically having the power to fight nori in case she was out of control, and other stuff like that.

A very entertaining reaction, Ryan! You definitely have an entertaining personality, so its fun to watch even if you are struggling to understand what's going on. Can't really blame you though, this series is definitely on the more confusing/cryptic side, its hard to keep track of and understand everything going on unless you watch the episodes multiple times and pay attention to small details (not to mention you are having to talk and be entertaining while watching it). Im not sure if you will even see this comment, since this video was uploaded two days ago at this point, but I'll try to address some of your questions and points here, in case you are interested at all: As you later figured out, the two drones at the beginning of the episode in the cathedral are Nori (Uzi's mom) and Yeva (Doll's mom). The USB crucifix is a patch to remove the Absolute Solver from drones, as you know. What you may have not gotten is that the Solver spread there from Nori and Yeva. While the patch "sealed" the Solver in them, we know from circumstantial evidence that the Solver is passed from parent to child. After all, both Uzi and Doll got the Solver, and there is a part in episode 1 where you can see Uzi's Solver activate (a small detail where it displays on her HUD for a split second). As for how Nori is there, and why she is a Core/"Heart" now, if you remember in episode 1 Khan mentioned that Nori was "killed" by a Murder Drone, as it got to her with its Nanite Acid, and Khan mentioned having to "put her out of her misery" with a wrench. Im assuming that means he disassembled her, but he didn't realize her Core was still active and functional, so the Core left. It may even be the case that he accidentally saved her by removing her core before the acid could destroy it. As for the flashback scene with N, when Cyn/Solver was there hugging him, those were definitely people they were killing and eating, on Earth. You are correct in that being Tessa's dad that N was holding. As for why they ate them? Who knows, horror stuff I guess. Also yeah, the maid there was V's appearance from the past, before she got turned into a MD by Cyn. It's been a while since the previous episodes, so it's reasonable you would have forgotten. The big thing here though is the Tessa reveal. Its fairly certain Tessa was actually Cyn in disguise the entire time. Cyn is wearing Tessa's skin like a literal skin suit (as you saw from pausing, you can see the robot parts under the skin, in the scene where she jumps at N to bite his neck, you can even see her flayed arms with the robot hands under it, and the robot chest under her carved out one), and Tessa has likely been dead for a long time now. Back in episode 5, you might remember the Gala Massacre, where Cyn went into the Gala and killed her parents and everyone there. You may remember that Tessa barged in there with a revolver and tried to kill Cyn, and the scene ends with Cyn possessing J and the other drones there and locking the room, and its never shown how Tessa escaped that. Its probable that she didn't, and died there. There have been multiple hints up to this point that Tessa has been a robot the entire time, such as how back in episode 6 Tessa tried to shut down the Sentinel security raptors, but her access was denied, and how the Sentinel that bit her seemed confused and conflicted about what to do after attacking her. It wanted to keep attacking, since it detected she was a drone, but also couldn't, because of the (likely old) blood and flesh. There was also the fact that despite her suit being punctured repeatedly from multiple wounds throughout the episodes, she was totally fine, despite Copper 9 explicitly having a toxic atmosphere, lastly was in the scene where Doll was attacked. You can see during the "jumpscare" that it was Cyn wearing Tessa's skin. As for Tessa/Cyn's objective, why she wanted to get to the lab, her stated reason was to find the list of infected drones there to destroy them. I dont think that was exactly a lie, given the fact that she did go out of her way to get the list, destroy the computer, and even went out of her way to kill Doll and try to kill Uzi, before her main objective of destroying the planet. If you do (for some reason) read this near essay of text I hope you found it helpful. If you have other questions I'd be glad to clarify for you. Hope to see you react to episode 8 when it airs in like 6 months or something. Also lastly, I do agree with you on the voice acting. The acting is great, dont get me wrong, the voices fit the characters perfectly, the delivery is great, the emotion and tone are on point, but I can barely understand half of the lines without subtitles. I rewatched the episode after the ENG subtitles were added, and like you said it was a whole new experience

    Yeah. This show is confusing.
It expects you to analyze EVERYTHING.
From the dialog to code that flashes on drones vaisor for 0.2 seconds.
Important groundbreaking information is not even pointed out in any way.
No characters talking about one thing for 5 minutes or something being clearly stated with a visual.
    None of that.
Your understanding of the plot may hinge on understanding of hand, mumbled line from a person in space suit or something spoken by a russian drone spitting words like a machingun spits bullets.
I personaly Love this but expecting your audience to have collection of mental or physical notes and even more tinfoil theories if they don't want to be confused is never gonna be popular.

To your point about robots drinking oil, but also eating a hand... They're full of nanites, remember how their tails are full of a nanite acid that can eat through anything, so I assume they can use any material they consume, regardless of what it is, to repair themselves.

Oh boy, this episode, I'm excited to see what you think... Will probably post a horribly long comment once this is over and I've watched it lmao. "Tessa" in this episode seems to take a ton of inspiration from Liam's other works, looking a lot like Liam's older characters, namely Kali Aimes from his first project, "Design", a sort of audiobook he wrote on his old channel, Scary Story Time with Liam. Namely the black hair, bleeding eyes, tendrils coming from her back, etc... Although she also has quite a bit of IcON in her design as well, with the crossed-out eyes and being a robot wearing human skin. Also, this episode basically confirms V isn't dead, because Lizzy, the pink-eyed blonde drone, was texting a "friend", and the only person other than Doll she's confirmed to be friends with is V, and whatever her friend was telling her to do involved getting the spaceship. So I won't be surprised if V is alive as like one of those crab-heart-core things and needs Lizzy's help to escape from the labs.

1:35 This cathedral model wasn't created by Glitch, they bought it from the Unreal Engine marketplace, which makes this bit kind of funny. idk how much it costs but you can get the whole cathedral in 3D if you want to buy it :/
12:15 N's scream is probably going to end up becoming a meme
15:04 now THAT is probably one of, if not the most impressive scene in all of Murder Drones. Would definitely use as a background or have it as a poster.
32:18 Everyone who watched internecion Cube : "Hey, I've seen this before!" *_PTSD triggered_*
47:15 Well Tessa was a human before the gala massacre/Earth massacre and then Cyn/Solver killed her and used her body or skin as a suit to pretend to be tessa. You can see that under her mouth there are robot teeth, she has the robot neck, after she gets out of the space suit we can also see Cyn's real robot hands protruding from Tessa's wrists (so she has like 2 hands on each arm, one human hand and one robot hand)

This is why I refreshed myself on the series before watching this episode. And I am glad about that because I love all the callbacks to the series. And the gags too. Let me clear some things up...
I didn't notice at first, but the title itself is a pun. Mass also means "church" and this takes place at a church. You guys. XD
Yeva playing Tetris was such a good touch because she's Russian, Tetris is Russian, such a good culture gag there!
The Absolute Solver's illusion power, I haven't seen that since episode 2. So freaky.
I initially thought Mom Spider was just Uzi who turned into one of those robo hearts for some reason between episodes because Cyn's robots can turn into spiders if they are deaded enough. But that's Nori, was melted by N, I think, and then whacked by Kahn... NO not like that! So that cross contains something that removes Cyn's control over corrupted bots
THAD'S BACK! YES!! I missed him; he's the one who said Uzi's bandages were badass!
N's display after Cyn fucked with N's mind - AKA central processor? - said to "contact admin Darkxwolf17." Uzi permanantly stopped Cyn from controlling N's mind!
That flesh corridor tentacle thing reminds me of Dead Space so much! God, I should have seen that coming cause Absolute Solver is like a less fucked up robo necromorph.
Holy shit! Mustache man is making an even better sick as hell railgun like Uzi's!! And J later got PTSD from seeing it! She's surprisingly fucked!
Oooh, I gotta give you props for that Metro 2033 reference when Cyntessa went FNAF on Doll!
That hand thing was not a joke... although me saying that gave myself Shaye Saint John flashbacks... maybe you should react to it... Anyway, you need a hand to create a reality warping null singularity thing, and the bit of the Absolute Solver that remained in her tried to make one so she let Yeva cut it off.
Nori is just as rude as Uzi! Even as an old spider mom she's angsty. Wait, considering angst disrupted Cyn's control, is that cross just full of electronic angst??
Tessa didn't survive the Gala after all... Cyn fucking wore her like some fucked up robot Hannibal Lecter...
"Get-snuck-up-on." Oh, Cyn even as a fucking wendigo bot, you are a sinister delight.

i think the main reason why this show got so many of its fans confused is because it relies so much on tell not show. Which isn't bad and it's usually better than show not telling with giving us too much exposition. But there are times where shows do need some kind of recap for the fans, as we aren't going to remember a lot from the previous episodes. Like for episode 6, i was confused why the cannibal robots were even trying to kill the NUV gang (N, V, Uzi), its one of those shows where you need to watch back multiple times. But at the same time, it's kind of a breath of fresh air for a show. Even i give this criticism, I really love this show. With it's voice acting, characters, dialogue, and of course animation.

Oh yeah, you missed a lot. That is fine though, this show really is hard to figure out even with rewatches. It is like darksouls in how it tells the lore. You need to dig around and piece it together yourself. Also, using subtitles makes a lot of sense so you don't need to feel awkward about that at all. (In case you did, idk whether you did)
I heavily recommend you watch episodes 5 and 6 again as well, they hold a lot of clues about what is going on in here.
So, remember how the Earth blew up? I mean Earth, not Copper 9. (which is where our current cast is) That is where the N flashback takes place. The giant halo on the horizon was the accretion disk (outer edge) of the blackhole that was consuming the planet. You see it in episode 6 where "Tessa" shows N what happened to Earth. It blew up completely. Copper 9 is yet to blow up completely, though. You "just" see an absolutely gigantic explosion on the surface of the planet at the end of this episode.
Returning to Tessa, it is implied that she died in episode 5. As in, when Cyn goes absolute genocide mode on the humans, she kills Tessa there as well. *But here is the most important part.* I didn't figure this out myself either, but read it from what other people were saying and the evidence is relatively conclusive here. In episode 5, Cyn tells Tessa that she will not "discard her". In this episode, we see the Cyn/Tessa hybrid abomination. The idea is that Cyn killed Tessa in episode 5, then flayed her and wore her skin like a freaking psycho. So Tessa was never actually in episodes 6 or 7. It was Cyn all along, literally wearing the skin of a human so she could befuddle the anti-robot security of the facility. She used Tessa's blood to confuse the robot velociraptor in episode 6, and she used Tessa's hand (fingertip) to bypass CAPTCHA of the computer in this episode.
So yeah, this show requires a lot of scrutiny and careful analysis to understand. But it is a damn good series. Feel free to read more about the series and maybe watch the previous episodes to refresh your memory. I certainly went back to watch episode 6 again when I say that episode 7 dropped because I knew it has been a long time since ep 6 came out and I might have gotten confused watching ep 7 if I didn't go back and refresh my memory. I recommend doing the same for when episode 8 drops. It might take a couple of months or something for it to drop.
