I have no idea what you guys are talking about, there was a prophecy that fenrir was to kill odin, so odin bound fenrir to prevent his own death, but by doing so fenrir promised to devour odin when Ragnarök comes

While I love these lyrics, when I first heard it I thought the “a challenge” dialogue was meant to be fenrir and tyr, with fenrir saying “nourish me” as a reference to fenrir taking tyrs arm when tyr willingly broke his promise to fenrir, but hearing the “now face me” makes it sound more like fenrir and Odin? Especially since the next line is “the prophecy has come to you”, both variations are cool though. Either way, great work! Hope to hear more from you soon!

Odin knew that his death would come from Fenrir via prophecy. That’s why Odin and the other Gods chained him to try and buy Odin time, but the prophecy gets fulfilled eventually
