This is the best vid I've found so far. Widescreen, no auto-focus, no obnoxious Boom 97.3 FM music accompaniment. Just the sounds of the city and the crowds and the crackle of the fireworks. Nice job.
Looks amazing having the fireworks as a background to the CN tower. So cool! Awesome footage because there is no music background. We had beiber and adams as our background music for fireworks. I had to dub it with non copyright music to post my vid online.
Way better than Niagara Falls'. Can't believe how sad (and short) those were. This is coming from a Canadian who spent a few years in the US and if there's one thing I'll give to the States it's that they know how to do fireworks - even the smallest, remotest town. Anyways, the CN Tower was still beautiful :)
Loved being in Toronto for Canada 150 that year. I watched and recorded this from the corner of McCaul Street, just off College Street. Oh, and as a visitor that summer, I enjoyed the large rubber duck too, sorry, lol. Just wondering where you shot this video from?
I was in Acton that evening after being in Guelph all day after arriving on a long trip from Thunder Bay. I could have gone to Toronto if I left Guelph early enough.
I'm not talking about any of that. Canada is not the only country that has those qualities. Anyways from a firework perspective this is nice but nothing impressive.
As a foreigner living and working in Dubai. I've noticed that everyone's treated with respect and compassion here. There's not much to complain about here as well. The west makes it seem as if there are major human right violations here but that's just not the case. In fact most foreign workers here get free air tickets to fly back home every now and then regardless of their position even ( Janitors). Anyways not about to get into a debate here, So i'll conclude with nice fireworks =)
Fireworks from the Burj Khalifa probably costs 10 times more than fireworks from the CN tower. If you don't believe just youtube" Burj Khalifa fireworks". You'll be mind blown. From a world standard perspective this fireworks show is nice but nothing impressive.
These were not the only fireworks happening in Toronto last night lol. These are very specifically executed and calculated set of fireworks that have to look and preform a certain way because you are firing them off of both 116 and 147 stories above the ground from the tallest free standing structure in the western hemisphere. lol. up close and live, they are pretty spectacular. The traditional fireworks you see spreading out over the sky (and are fired from the ground) were also happening last night in Toronto as well. ;)

Great visuals. I filmed it from a distance and it looked gritty and the colours were not as crisp. Thank you for sharing this.

Wonderful, Toronto. This is going to be hard for New York or LA to beat. From an american.
Great shot!
Thanks! I only had my Canon G7X with me, but I liked the way it turned out.
awesome! Watching a year later, as someone who didn't see this last year, and its amazing. Great, since I can't see this year's own.

long live Canada...
too bad you weren't tuned into Boom 97.3; the fireworks were timed to music being broadcast from that station.
Their music was TERRIBLE!!
150 ✌
Awesome fireworks. Great job at covering the CN Tower! Where did you setup your tripod?
I like how many of them launch away from the tower!
this was so big I was literally able to see them on this hill in Brampton
Canada 150 anniversary at CN Tower, in Toronto Ontario :D
Get get more fireworks in Ottawa even when it's not 150

This fire works show is nothing compared to the ones they do from the Burj Khalifa here in Dubai.

Fahad Chowdhury well we Canadians LOVED IT.
In Canada fireworks only last 5 minutes, lame!
The fireworks in Guelph were better than this

There were like 6 different shows in Toronto... the CN tower wasn't even the biggest show
