damn!! this set slayed! all krews brought something different. big ups to GRV and RF for the hardwork, clearly shows how much talent these two countries have.
i've noticed that bam is a coherent speed demon in which each move nicely flows to the next move. david lim on the other hand is concise on he emphasizes every move even the smallest or subtle steps. both are great dancers and i think its cool that their styles (including jawns) are recognizable, even if they are aren't during the performance or just absent.
No, but he choreographed the bits at 1:00 and 2:00 and Bam choreographed the part at 3:00. All those were taken from old choreo. GRV is the best true dance crew in the nation! very proud to have known them before most people.
I thought about replying to this saying the same thing as @KoopaOviasu . Thank you for taking the words straight out of my mouth . GRV has been doing krump/hard hitting chroeo since they were the 57's !
With jawn ha and bam Martin as choreographers for the crew 1st place is always the option ment so damn hard my heart was racing had to contain myself from yelling at the end fucking sealed it at the end great fucking job guys love you
for the comments about krumpin know your history. Krumping was created by two dancers: Ceasare "Tight Eyez" Willis and Jo'Artis "Big Mijo" Ratti in South Central, Los Angeles, California during the early 2000's and before that was a less aggressive style called clowning which was created by Tommy the Clown back in the early 1990's when he and a group of dancers used to paint their faces and entertain at parties.
FUCK I SWEAR TO GOD I KILLED THE REPLAY BUTTON! WATCHIN IN FRONT WAS GIVN ME CHILLS EVEN WATCHING FROM MY IPHONE STILL DOES! HOPE TO SEE YALL NEXT YEAR!! G!!
I was surprised that they got silver considering the last time they did this set, they came first, but in the end i think Academy of Swag just took it, really do love this set though, the beginning especially!
As for comparing GRV and RF, that's just dumb. They both have very different styles. They both support one another, if you did not know Request was recently at their studio after Body Rock about 2 months ago. Hip Hop is always evolving. I am proud of GRV, each day they competed, they evolved and that is what took them to 2nd place in Worlds. Each set: USA prelims to USA finals to World prelims to World finals each had new elements!
Bam Martin and David Lim's choreography is very similar!!! At first I could tell the difference, but now I see that they both have the same style of dance..
i know that....but they had 2 take it out b/c it had too much bad language, anyways i just said that b/c that was one of my fav sections in the whole routine
its ture tho everyone does have to start bringing their game or else New Zealand will keep kicking arse, and by the way we did take the gold woop woop.
idk about that. On top of the dance style, Bam's fluid or buck vs David's swag isolation, their song preference is quite different. To me personally, it's David's emphasis on hitting the beats with hard & sharp moves that differentiate him from Bam.
OMG. GRV. Legendary.
all members are soooooooo amazing :)
soo much better watching it live...gets you soooo hyped up
damn!! this set slayed! all krews brought something different. big ups to GRV and RF for the hardwork, clearly shows how much talent these two countries have.

i guess you don't have much of an eye for detail then. there's a reason these guys take home first place so often.

Jabbowakeez are the GREATEST AND BETTER!!!!!
This reminds me soo much of Jawn Ha! I know he's part of GRV did he perform here?
GRV is not an abbreviation for anything, despite the fact that it looks like the word "Groove".
-Clay Doh (GRaVy Babies)
its ture tho everyone does have to start bringing their game or else New Zealand will keep kicking arse, and by the way we did take the gold woop woop.
My Own Summer (Bangerz Remix)- Deftones
Okay. :)
reminds of XTATIC!!
who's the girl that leads Jawn's choreo??? ive always wanted to know since i saw her on the WOD GRV vid
idk about that. On top of the dance style, Bam's fluid or buck vs David's swag isolation, their song preference is quite different. To me personally, it's David's emphasis on hitting the beats with hard & sharp moves that differentiate him from Bam.
lol i guessed i should have done some research between GRV and Jawn.
Soulja-Tight eyez
Wait... what about the buck piece right after Birthday Cake? I could have sworn that was Bam's
you wrong :P grv are the best for me :P
