That beach definitely gave up the goods. King tides are back this week so it should get even better. I’m down in Orange County this week and Pirate Mike and I have been killing it on the gold the past 3 days.

Been raining for days her in West Virginia and to top it off I have covid😭 hopefully I can get out sometime soon and try my new Garrett Ace 300 out . Wanting to get a new pinpointer haven't decided exactly on the one yet my sister and I have been thinking of a Garrett Carrot I have also been checking on Garrett Pro pinpointer. You have an ideas on a good one to use with the Garrett Ace 300 detector?

True, I found a 10k ring that was very green yesterday. This bracelet had copper showing through the plating unfortunately

Too lucky, I saw you at this very beach but had previously visited tides hotel/ave, seacliff, and new brighton. Was gonna hit blacks beach last, but it was a real toss up between blacks and tides for beaches to hit before low tide at new brighton. Guess I lost out on that bet, as tides had nothing and both seacliff and new brighton were all rocks and barely any sand for things to be buried in.
That beach was still loaded after I left. I’m sure it will be good after the king tides this week. New Brighton/seacliff is tuff Diggin on a good day lol. I think next time I’ll bring a regular shovel with me to pry the rocks up. How was tide ave? I’ve been meaning to check it out but haven’t had time.
@@MontereyMagnetMan Tide ave is still sanded in unfortunately. Nothing really good to be found there. Corcoran was also bad the last time I checked with the sand returning, but I hope that will change with the king tides. Moran beach is going to be out of commission for a while too!
@@MontereyMagnetMan I also hit Carmel beach on Tuesday, nothing but some tent stakes, iron, and muddy sand for miles. Only thing worth it about the trip was pelican pizza.
@@MontereyMagnetMan It wasn't that loaded when I went today. Either that or I wasn't thorough enough. Did find my first ring for the year though. Total junker but hey a ring is a ring is a ring. Blacks beach is really irony right now. Often times targets would sound like caps with the grunts, but once out of the hole they sound like proper targets.

Usually a 86-89 is a penny, and a 90-92 is often a dime. Wheaties and older copper Pennie’s can sound like a dime though.
