In Thailand, we play sepak takrow in every village. There are many generation of them.
ใช่ๆ ตะกร้อเหมือนอยู่ในสายเลือดไม่เว้นแม้แต่เด็กผู้หญิง ถึงจะขึ้นฟาดไม่เป็น แต่เป็นกีฬาที่เหมาะสำหรับการออกกำลังกาย แต่ก่อนอยู่ต่างจังหวัด พอเย็นๆ ก็ล้อมวงเตะตะกร้อกัน ไม่ได้เตะลูก อย่างน้อยก็ได้วิ่งเก็บลูกค่ะ😀

มันมีตะกร้อลอดห่วง Hoop Takraw ส่วนใหญ่คนแก่จะชอบ เพราะมีท่าสวยงาม มีแข่งขันด้วย
These grandfathers were all legends of Thai Takraw players in the past. They are sepak takraw trainers in the local team. In fact, they often compete with each other often. at various festivals in Thailand

The age rule in this tournament is that 2 front players must be 55+ and the rear players must be 60+.

YES.. Veryyyyyyy.. 😅😅 Especially when the ball hits areas with thin and not strong muscles such as the face area, but well-trained players knows how to avoid those weak spots.

This players are Thai national team legends and Pornchai idols in 30 years a go.I would say they are person who created the way to play or amazing skill such as rolling spike , smash serving included many tricks as we see in nowaday.But anyway I also amaze like you , ages can not puching them.They still can play with very high standard.💪

ยังได้อยู่นะ50-60ยังไหว ตะกร้อเล่นแล้วมันสนุก มันเล้าใจตลอด เล่นได้นานพอสมควร มันเคลื่อนไหวไม่มากเลยไม่หนักเกินไปที่ร่างกายจะรับได้
คนมันจะบิน อายุมันแค่ตัวเลข จัดไป
Takraw ball is made from rattan. But nowaday some of them are made from plastic .this is the game between the seniors from the central region and the north eastern region I think most of them are over 60+.You should ask the association to get more cooperation

คุณครูทตาฟาครับ ลูกตระกร้อเมื่อก่อนจะทำด้วยหวายที่เป็นพืชไม้เลื้อยที่มีอยู่ทั่วไปในแถบอาเซี่ยน แต่ปัจจุบันเปลี่ยนมาเป็นลูกพลาสติกแทน มันจะแข็งแต่ก็ยืดหยุ่นพอสมควร ถ้าคุณไม่เคยเล่นหรือเล่นเป็นครั้งแรกคุณจะขยาดและรู้สึกเจ็บ แต่พอคุณคุ้นเคยกับมันคุณจะไม่รู้สึกเจ็บคุณจะชอบและสนุกกับมันแน่นอนครับ

The is HARD!!! my friend. How could I compare. It's made of woven plastic string. The strand is about 5mm thick and made into 9-12 strands bands. Then woven into a ball which has considerable weight and hardness and you can see that some player has cloth band on their head

The ball is hard ? yes, since they made of plastic, unlike football/soccer ball or valleyball's ball... ? which filled with air. the only air which support to being a ball would be those holes, which make the ball "flexible", in a sense. Of course, in ancient times, they made out of rattans, and not plastic, kicking them with your bare feet, not recommend nowsaday XD
