You can buy e-paper displays that sync to calendars for like 150$ each if you also want to see it right outside the room (which is nice to have if you want to just use a room in the moment).

You could just release the application and I assume any iPad or Android Table can do the same. If logitech willing to provide full integration between their product and other brands.
Honestly as someone who works in IT and deals with similar devices, an ipad or tablet would not be ideal. Most of these style devices are POE and as such the existing wiring is set up that way. Also these are made to be on 24/7 without getting screen ghosting or burn in which and iPad or android tablet would most definitely have issues with.
Why should a company pay someone to setup another device with an app when this is literally plug and play and has full IT support. You dont seem to understand companies
This has built in POE and doesn't require and Poe to USB charging bricks or adapters. Plus it can be remotely managed and has built in led indicators. I've installed well over 1000 room schedulers of all types. This is the easy winner. Plus it includes all the mounts with it.
Looks like a usefull product, but why mentioning the Wifi integration when the suggested (or only) way to power the device is over POE? It already has a (more reliable) data connection built in, so why would I use Wifi?
hey you can sell this to WeWork, but I guess the rest of the offices are ok .. they know how to to find their meeting rooms and use outlook. The idea is good. But the price makes and use make it a No No.. for any office manager or a business owner. Good product thinking
The device costs ~700 EUR (in Finland) a piece. On top of that, you have to route ethernet cables to these devices. Total cost is absolutely bonkers compared to a traditional paper solution, which, in my opinion, might just be OK.
You and me both brother. I had also left an idea on an old forum, VTCTalk for a One Touch Join idea about 12 years ago. I guess it takes money to make money.

You could have disrupted this market with low price on hardware and digital business/license instead. Now to many alternatives (evoko, meetio, Robin rooms with own hardware e.g.).
Why not just create a mobile app that enterprises can customize login via sso, then just create a cheap affordable beacon (hardware) you can install to your rooms? Be it small or big, you can configure each beacon from a web admin. Procurement for this devices will not be easy (financially) please hire me as product manager lol
I come through this show my dissatisfaction with the logitech brand. And in the face of this frustrating experience, I come to everyone's knowledge. I bought a Logitech mouse model M720 TRIATHLON BLUETOOTH the mouse started to present problems in the function of the clicks of the left button, so far so good, because we know that any product in its use can present faults, the problem is when it presents faults and does not have support, no technical support. Here's the tip, if you buy this product, buy it knowing that any problem with the product, there will only be the alternative of throwing it in the trash. Mainly here in Brazil.
i could buy a 20$ android tablet and program some applications into it that serve the same purpose, resell it, market it, and kill ur product. u need to fix ur pricing
meetings are the ultimate hatecrime against the working class (the only people keeping this world running), please ban all meeting rooms. If it is not important enough to be discussed on the shop floor, it is ha waste of our time.
In our office we just use Outlook calendar to view availability and book a room.
same 👍🏻 keep it simple i say.
Wo do so like that as well.

Yes but its not very environmentally friendly 😉
Built for easy viewing: reflective as hell :D
I mean, it's definitely a great device but at least a foil for anti reflections would be nice :D

It's 400 nit. You arent going to see reflections on a 400 nit device indoors.

This would have been great pre-covid, but we let all our office space go as we've all gone remote now. Looks nice though.
This guy gets it
Not all have gone remote many are returning to offices either by will or are forced to return
i was working remote only for few months in Austria
799 for this is a little overkill. Could do with just basic tablets and led lights if needed

We have iPads fixed outside our meeting rooms running some sort of application, though I do feel using iPads for that is a bit of an overkill.
lol this thing is 800 so you can buy 2-3 ipdas for that price

The consumerism is real with this one.
Probably ok for hotel meeting rooms. But an office? I mean who’s in an office these days.
I did something similar for my school with esp and eink displays... It was cool
this is great! you have solution for in- and outside the meeting room
Do you know what else shows room availability?
Windows
how about google calendar? Is that supported or no?
Looks like a great product but about three years late to the market.
is the mtr background of logi tap scheduler customizable? if posible ,how?

idk why this was recommended but thanks ig
This so 2019...
I hope to never go back to the office again. Maybe just for very important once in 3-6 months meetings
Just build an app and let everyone know the schedule. Why put a tablet outside every room
heck, you could even put something like a qr code next to all rooms so you don't need to keep track of room numbers
We just use Chaotic Whatsapp messages and yelling at each other to book.
