So glad Nicole became an exciting and fun segment. When she first started on the show A LOT of people laughed at her weird explanations and Korean :( it was so awful! Those people were straight up mean to her, but she showed all of them by becoming the best segment of the game show :)
Nicole Jung of KARA is younger than the youngest member of Girls' Generation, Seohyun. Nicole was only 17 yo while hosting this show but seems so composed and quick witted. She is undeniably next level intelligent and must wonder if she was raised in Los Angeles by a tiger mom.
Hara is my KARA bias but you can't deny that Nicole is the cutest thing ever omg. She's not native yet it looks like she's so good at explaining in Korean and I'm sure this segment helped her learn Korean. Nicole is perfff ah
Nicole and Jessica's interactions during this segment are always hilarious, since neither of them is a native Korean speaker. I speak Japanese decently well, but I can't imagine being very good at this in Japanese.
I see what she's doing. Nicole has a better command of Korean than Jessica. Although Jessica's Korean is proficient and her pronunciation is good, she doesn't understand Korean idioms and sayings so Nicole has to organize the Korean words into English ideas so Jessica can process them better.
